===========================
Commiting camera tracking integration gsoc project into trunk.
This commit includes:
- Bundled version of libmv library (with some changes against official repo,
re-sync with libmv repo a bit later)
- New datatype ID called MovieClip which is optimized to work with movie
clips (both of movie files and image sequences) and doing camera/motion
tracking operations.
- New editor called Clip Editor which is currently used for motion/tracking
stuff only, but which can be easily extended to work with masks too.
This editor supports:
* Loading movie files/image sequences
* Build proxies with different size for loaded movie clip, also supports
building undistorted proxies to increase speed of playback in
undistorted mode.
* Manual lens distortion mode calibration using grid and grease pencil
* Supervised 2D tracking using two different algorithms KLT and SAD.
* Basic algorithm for feature detection
* Camera motion solving. scene orientation
- New constraints to "link" scene objects with solved motions from clip:
* Follow Track (make object follow 2D motion of track with given name
or parent object to reconstructed 3D position of track)
* Camera Solver to make camera moving in the same way as reconstructed camera
This commit NOT includes changes from tomato branch:
- New nodes (they'll be commited as separated patch)
- Automatic image offset guessing for image input node and image editor
(need to do more tests and gather more feedback)
- Code cleanup in libmv-capi. It's not so critical cleanup, just increasing
readability and understanadability of code. Better to make this chaneg when
Keir will finish his current patch.
More details about this project can be found on this page:
http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/User:Nazg-gul/GSoC-2011
Further development of small features would be done in trunk, bigger/experimental
features would first be implemented in tomato branch.

in dope sheet/ graph editor leads to duplicated keys
The old hack using the transform "undostring" didn't work anymore, as
this wasn't set. Instead, I've added a special mode transform mode for
this that the duplicate operators can set to get this functionality.

Code changes are minimal, re-using the code as already was there.
Options are in pulldown menu, or SHIFT+T and SHIFT+ALT+T
Might be that Martin likes to see it different... do we need
a special operatortype for it?

'const char's,.
Only one functional change where Transform orientations passed "" to BIF_createTransformOrientation() which could then have the value written into.

Add hidden property to be able to force confirm on release (drag immediately is a silly name) on or off.
Streamline method for adding common properties to transform operators.

calculateTransformCenter function passing event to transform init when it shouldn't have.
|
|
This is used to force snap on and off when needed.
Also, when transform is not run modal, it will use default values for PET and snap properties (False) instead of scene settings. No need to force them off when calling transform with Exec.

Fix bug in previous code: passing 3x3 matrix to a function expecting a 4x4 (warnings are for something)
|
|
This is similar to the old retopo all option but uses the snapping code and not the openGL depth buffer (it's thus more precise).
Not sure if making it available as a snap option is sensible, this is up for discussion.
NOTE: it will get slow fast on large meshes, we need to plug in an acceleration structure into snapping.
This will need an icon too.

Keymaps are now saveable and configurable from the user preferences, note
that editing one item in a keymap means the whole keymap is now defined by
the user and will not be updated by Blender, an option for syncing might be
added later. The outliner interface is still there, but I will probably
remove it.
There's actually 3 levels now:
* Default builtin key configuration.
* Key configuration loaded from .py file, for configs like Blender 2.4x
or other 3D applications.
* Keymaps edited by the user and saved in .B.blend. These can be saved
to .py files as well to make creating distributable configurations
easier.
Also, user preferences sections were reorganized a bit, now there is:
Interface, Editing, Input, Files and System.
Implementation notes:
* wmKeyConfig was added which represents a key configuration containing
keymaps.
* wmKeymapItem was renamed to wmKeyMapItem for consistency with wmKeyMap.
* Modal maps are not wrapped yet.
* User preferences DNA file reading did not support newdataadr() yet,
added this now for reading keymaps.
* Key configuration related settings are now RNA wrapped.
* is_property_set and is_property_hidden python methods were added.

Create new orientation is now Ctrl-Alt-Space (Alt-Space is select orientation and the old ctrl-shift-c is taken by add constraints).
New orientation panel in 3d view sidebar (nkey) has operator buttons for select, create and delete. Eventually, this should become a list.
Note that orientation operators are missing notifiers to properly redraw the 3d view and its header properly.
|
|
|

their handlers based on notifiers, which is simpler and more
reliable.
This fixes for example editmode or uv edit keymaps not working
when creating a new 3dview or image space.

Disable manipulator drawing while moving. This still use G.moving, but that's acceptable for now (it's sort of a weird display option, after talk with Ton, we couldn't find a good place to set it).
|
|
Note that this is on in all cases now, it needs to be restricted to face extrude only.
Some slight transform operator cleanup too.

|
* Objects now support up to 32767 material slots. It's easy to
increase this further, but I prefer not to increase the memory
usage of mesh faces, it seems unlikely that someone would
create 32767 distinct materials?
* Forward compatibility: the only thing you can potentially lose
reading a 2.5 file in 2.4 is object linking (instead of default
data), though usually that will go fine too. Reading files with
> 32 material slots in 2.4 can start giving issues.
* The ob->colbits variable is deprecated by the array ob->matbits
but I didn't remove the ob->colbits updates in very few places
it is set.
* I hope I changed all the relevant things, various places just
hardcoded the number 16 instead of using the MAXMAT define.
* Join Objects operator back. This is using the version from the
animsys2 branch coded by Joshua, which means it now supports
joining of shape keys.
* Fix for crash reading file saved during render.

|
Made transform confirm or cancel on mouse up. More inline with button clicking and better for tablets.
Add operator params to make sure Rip and Extrude turn off PET and Mirror correctly.
Note: sorry for all the whitespace changes, I need to reconfigure this editor not to do autocleanup.

Next up, NLA-branch to 2.5 :)

* Enums can now be dynamically created in the _itemf callback,
using RNA_enum_item(s)_add, RNA_enum_item_end. All places asking
for enum items now need to potentially free the items.
* This callback now also gets context, this was added specifically
for operators. This doesn't fit design well at all, needed to do
some ugly hacks, but can't find a good solution at the moment.
* All enums must have a default list of items too, even with an
_itemf callback, for docs and fallback in case there is no context.
* Used by MESH_OT_merge, MESH_OT_select_similar, TFM_OT_select_orientation.
* Also changes some operator properties that were enums to booleas
(unselected, deselect), to make them consistent with other ops.
|
|
It's just a straight application of the normal operator for now, none of the normal manipulator goodies yet (no draw code and you have to click to confirm).
|
|
* Rename BIF_transform/retopo.h to ED_transform/retopo.h
for consistency.
* Move MESH_OT_duplicate_add to editmesh_add.c.
* Remove some code from BIF_gl.h which is not needed there
anymore.

- first work on getting area/screen handling back
- added structure for where to put stuff, is still under
review, wait a bit for docs?
Campbell is working on removing every bad level include from
sources, so we can safely rebuild the src/ directory.
