Fix bug 656696 - project (both C# and VB) properties aren't
deserialized correctly from vb/csproj files
The problem was that the provided sample project had several global
groups.
MD will now merge together the global groups so all properties from
all groups will be read.
Also, remove some merging code that can now be replaced by the new
merging groups.
