Description

A bug in Nextcloud Server 15.0.2 causes pending 2FA logins to not be correctly expired when the password of the user is reset.

Affected Software

• Nextcloud Server < 15.0.3 (CVE-2019-15612)
• Nextcloud Server < 14.0.7 (CVE-2019-15612)
• Nextcloud Server < 13.0.11 (CVE-2019-15612)

Action Taken

The error has been fixed.

Resolution

It is recommended that the Nextcloud Server is upgraded to 15.0.3.
