Clang warns:
drivers/i2c/busses/i2c-at91-master.c:707:6: warning: variable 'dma_buf' is used uninitialized whenever 'if' condition is false [-Wsometimes-uninitialized]
if (dev->use_dma) {

i2c_put_dma_safe_msg_buf(dma_buf, m_start, !ret);
^~~~~~~
Initialize dma_buf to NULL, as i2c_put_dma_safe_msg_buf() is a no-op
when the first argument is NULL, which will work for the !dev->use_dma
case.

dmaengine_terminate_all() is deprecated in favor of explicitly saying if
it should be sync or async. Here, we want dmaengine_terminate_sync()
because there is no other synchronization code in the driver to handle
an async case.

Commit dc6df6e90de9 ("i2c: at91: remove legacy DMA support") removed legcy
DMA support from the driver. Remove the last use of the definitions from

devm_gpiod_get() usually calls gpio_request_enable() for non-strict pinmux
drivers. These puts the pins in GPIO mode, whithout notifying the pinctrl
driver. At this point, the I2C bus no longer owns the pins. To mux the
pins back to the I2C bus, we use the pinctrl driver to change the state
of the pins to GPIO, before using devm_gpiod_get(). After the pins are
received as GPIOs, we switch theer pinctrl state back to the default
one,

After a transfer timeout, some faulty I2C slave devices might hold down
the SDA pin. We can generate a bus clear command, hoping that the slave
might release the pins.
If the CLEAR command is not supported, we will use gpio recovery, if
available, to reset the bus.

In this case re-assign SCL/SDA to gpios and issue 9 dummy clock pulses

The single file i2c-at91.c has been split into core code (i2c-at91-core.c)
and master mode specific code (i2c-at91-master.c). This should enhance
maintainability and reduce ifdeffery for slave mode related code.
The code itself hasn't been touched. Shared functions only had to be made
non-static. Furthermore, includes have been cleaned up.
