2020-09-02macintosh: windfarm: remove detatch debug containing spelling mistakesColin Ian King
There are spelling mistakes in two debug messages. As recommended by Wolfram Sang, these can be removed as there is plenty of debug in the driver core. 2020-03-10macintosh: windfarm: fix MODINFO regressionWolfram Sang
Commit af503716ac14 made sure OF devices get an OF style modalias with I2C events. It assumed all in-tree users were converted, yet it missed some Macintosh drivers. Add an OF module device table for all windfarm drivers to make them automatically load again. 2019-10-18macintosh: Use pr_warn instead of pr_warningKefeng Wang
As said in commit f2c2cbcc35d4 ("powerpc: Use pr_warn instead of pr_warning"), removing pr_warning so all logging messages use a consistent <prefix>_warn style. Let's do it. 2018-12-22macintosh: Use of_node_name_{eq, prefix} for node name comparisonsRob Herring
Convert string compares of DT node names to use of_node_name_{eq,prefix} helpers instead. This removes direct access to the node name pointer. This changes a single case insensitive node name comparison to case sensitive for "ata4". This is the only instance of a case insensitive comparison for all the open coded node name comparisons on powerpc. Searching the commit history, there doesn't appear to be any reason for it to be case insensitive. A couple of open coded iterating thru the child node names are converted to use for_each_child_of_node() instead. 2017-09-01powerpc/macintosh: constify wf_sensor_ops structuresJulia Lawall
The wf_sensor_ops structures are only stored in the ops field of a wf_sensor structure, which is declared as const. Thus the wf_sensor_ops structures themselves can be const. Done with the help of Coccinelle. // <smpl> @r disable optional_qualifier@ identifier i; position p; @@ static struct wf_sensor_ops i@p = { ... }; @ok1@ identifier r.i; struct wf_sensor s; position p; @@ s.ops = &i@p @ok2@ identifier r.i; struct wf_sat_sensor s; position p; @@ s.sens.ops = &i@p @bad@ position p != {r.p,ok1.p,ok2.p}; identifier r.i; struct wf_sensor_ops e; @@ e@i@p @depends on !bad disable optional_qualifier@ identifier r.i; @@ static +const struct wf_sensor_ops i = { ... }; // </smpl> Signed-off-by: Julia Lawall <Julia.Lawall@lip6.fr> Signed-off-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au>
2017-09-01macintosh: Convert to using %pOF instead of full_nameRob Herring
Now that we have a custom printf format specifier, convert users of full_name to use %pOF instead. This is preparation to remove storing of the full path string for each node.
