GPU subdiv: Fix edit mode vertex color not being uploaded properly
Also cleaned up the code a tad bit. Note that I
found two more bugs:
* GPU subdivision attribute interpolation
is producing visual artifacts.
* "Show on cage" mode for subdivision surface
just shows black colors.
