Use a shorter/simpler license convention, stops the header taking so much space. Follow the SPDX license specification: https://spdx.org/licenses - C/C++/objc/objc++ - Python - Shell Scripts - CMake, GNUmakefile While most of the source tree has been included - `./extern/` was left out. - `./intern/cycles` & `./intern/atomic` are also excluded because they use different header conventions. doc/license/SPDX-license-identifiers.txt has been added to list SPDX all used identifiers. 2021-11-29Refactor BKE_bpath module.Bastien Montagne
The main goal of this refactor is to make BPath module use `IDTypeInfo`, and move each ID-specific part of the `foreach_path` looper into their own IDTypeInfo struct, using a new `foreach_path` callback. Additionally, following improvements/cleanups are included: * Attempt to get better, more consistent namings. ** In particular, move from `path_visitor` to more standard `foreach_path`. * Update and extend documentation. ** API doc was moved to header, according to recent discussions on this topic. * Remove `BKE_bpath_relocate_visitor` from API, this is specific callback that belongs in `lib_id.c` user code. NOTE: This commit is expected to be 100% non-behavioral-change. This implies that several potential further changes were only noted as comments (like using a more generic solution for `lib_id_library_local_paths`, addressing inconsistencies like path of packed libraries always being skipped, regardless of the `BKE_BPATH_FOREACH_PATH_SKIP_PACKED` `eBPathForeachFlag` flag value, etc.). Two issues addressed here: I) `asset_type_info` is sub-data, not a callback. Therefore, move it before the callbacks in the `IDTypeInfo` struct. II) More important, initialize this new attribute in *ALL* `IDTypeInfo` instances. No member of this struct should ever be left implicitely uninitilazed, ever. Aftermath of rBa84f1c02d251.

This commit adds to ID struct a new optional 'weak reference' to a linked ID (in the form of a blend file library path and full ID name). This can then be used on next append to try to find a matching local ID instead of re-making the linked data local again. Ref. T90545 NOTE: ID re-use will be disabled for regular append for the time being (3.0 release), and only used for assets. Therefore, this commit should not change anything user-wise. 2021-07-13Refactor: Move vertex group names to object dataHans Goudey
This commit moves the storage of `bDeformGroup` and the active index to `Mesh`, `Lattice`, and `bGPdata` instead of `Object`. Utility functions are added to allow easy access to the vertex groups given an object or an ID. As explained in T88951, the list of vertex group names is currently stored separately per object, even though vertex group data is stored on the geometry. This tends to complicate code and cause bugs, especially as geometry is created procedurally and tied less closely to an object. The "Copy Vertex Groups to Linked" operator is removed, since they are stored on the geometry anyway. This patch leaves the object-level python API for vertex groups in place. Creating a geometry-level RNA API can be a separate step; the changes in this commit are invasive enough as it is. Note that opening a file saved in 3.0 in an earlier version means the vertex groups will not be available. Differential Revision: https://developer.blender.org/D11689

This concerns currently only collections (`master_collection` of scenes) and root node trees. It removes the matching type-specific helpers (`BKE_collection_master_scene_search` and `BKE_node_tree_find_owner_ID`). No functional change expected here. NOTE: Current implementation of `owner_get` is far from optimal, we could probably do it better, see {T69169}. NOTE: While it could also have it, shapekeys IDTypeInfo was left out of this change for now. Mainly because it sould not be used currently, and we ultimately want to demote shape keys from ID status anyway.

Considering the changes , issue is resolved ( Ignoring readability issues) . **Changes **: - `Change in value assignment of fu/v/w :` Observing previous code , I noticed ,value assigned to them is equivalent to -0.5 ( i.e. co-ordinate of left most vertex of lattice size =1 where centre of lattice is origin ) . - `Change in value assignment of du/v/w :` Margin ( distance ) between each division of surface along any axis is equivalent to **( (length of surface along axis ) / (no of division line - 1) )** . that's why is changed it to (default_size/unew -1) . - ` New variable declared "default_size" :` As far as I gone through the code , I noticed values 1 < du ,fu < 1 , which indicates these values were calculated with respect to default lattice of size 1 . - `removed pntsu/v/w != 1 check :` Following changes inside the if block worked properly for pntsu/v/w = 1 . Better use higher-level code from common ID management when possible. Helps to de-duplicate logic, and reduces outside usages of more 'dangerous' functions. Note that we could get rid of many of those `BKE_<id_type>_add` functions now, but on the other hand several of those take extra parameters and perform additional actions, so think we can keep them all for now as 'non-standard ID specific creation functions'.

Previously, it was kind of a mess. In different places it was using `char`, `short` and `int`. The changed properties are flags that are operated upon using bit operations. Therefore, the integer type should be unsigned. Since we only use 2 bits of these flags, `uint8_t` is large enough. Especially note the change I had to make in `RNA_define.h` to make this work.
