It's mostly things where the signature in the .h and the actual implementation in the .c do not match. And a bunch functions who do not match the TaskRunFunction declaration cause they leave out the __restrict keyword.

handling).
This commit changes a lot of how IDs are handled internally, especially the unlinking/freeing
processes. So far, this was very fuzy, to summarize cleanly deleting or replacing a datablock
was pretty much impossible, except for a few special cases.
Also, unlinking was handled by each datatype, in a rather messy and prone-to-errors way (quite
a few ID usages were missed or wrongly handled that way).
One of the main goal of id-remap branch was to cleanup this, and fatorize ID links handling
by using library_query utils to allow generic handling of those, which is now the case
(now, generic ID links handling is only "knwon" from readfile.c and library_query.c).
This commit also adds backends to allow live replacement and deletion of datablocks in Blender
(so-called 'remapping' process, where we replace all usages of a given ID pointer by a new one,
or NULL one in case of unlinking).
This will allow nice new features, like ability to easily reload or relocate libraries, real immediate
deletion of datablocks in blender, replacement of one datablock by another, etc.
Some of those are for next commits.
A word of warning: this commit is highly risky, because it affects potentially a lot in Blender core.
Though it was tested rather deeply, being totally impossible to check all possible ID usage cases,
it's likely there are some remaining issues and bugs in new code... Please report them! ;)

Now CD_SHAPEKEY_INDEX customdata is stored in edit-mode when hooks and vertex parents are used.
This also fixes a bug where undo would loose key-index data.
Move to structs for BM_mesh_bm_to/from_me to avoid passing many argument, which mostly aren't used.

painting.
Also system added a brush every time it found no paint brush in the
system which is not what we would want.
Solution:
* Brush panel stays visible always, regardless of whether there is a
brush or not.
* We search for first available brush when we find no brush in paint
struct instead of always generating a new one.
* Generating and searching for a brush take a mode argument now. Needed
some refactoring to users of BKE_paint_init as well.
* Did some style cleanups for paint mode enums.
Patch is big but it's mostly argument refactoring.

This stores loop indices into the loop array giving easier acess
to data such as vertex-colors and UV's,
removing the need to store an MFace duplicate of custom-data.
This doesn't yet move all internal code from MFace to LoopTri just yet.
Only applies to:
- opengl drawing
- sculpting (pbvh)
- vertex/weight paint
Thanks to @psy-fi for review, fixes and improvements to drawing!

We can calculate tangents analytically for bezier curves, so just make
them awesome. New code uses forward differencing calculation for
efficiency just like curve calculation.

This frees up some memory ~approx 10% in own tests.
Also slight spee-up since it avoids calculating it in the first place.

future)
Cavity masking now has a curve control. The control will set the amount
of masking for positive cavity ("pointness") or negative cavity
("cavity") with x axis being the amount of cavity and 0.0 = full cavity,
1.0 = full pointness, 0.5 = no cavity and the y axis being the amount of

This commit includes a few things:
* It moves the Rake and Random flags from the brush to the MTex.
* The first change allows mask textures to have independent rake
support.
* Random rotation now has an angle value that controls the width of the
effect from the rake or default angle
* Rake and Random are now supported together.

* Fix crash when restoring file from last saved state.

Yep, at last it's here!
There are a few minor issues remaining but development can go on in
master after discussion at blender institute.

Multires did not support hiding in zero level. It's a case of PBVH not
being used in drawing due to code reporting active modifiers being used.
However multires level zero can be treated as effectively no modifier
and we can use mesh PBVH.

Sculpt mode drawing fails after deleting a subsurf modifier
in sculpt mode and undoing.
This was quite difficult to spot. Main cause was that mesh data was not
synchronized properly between undo and sculpt code because we generated
a pbvh on derivedmesh invalidation without really refreshing the rest of
the data. This could result in undo and drawing operating on different
data.
To solve this and avoid bad level calls I had to move quite some code
around. Crazyspace is now moved to blenkernel, as did some sculpt calls
that make sure sculpt data are properly refreshed.

It solves not being able to tweak textures in the new texture context button system if an image editor is set up for painting and active object is in object mode.
|
|
|

On file save the mesh gets loads from the editmesh but the derived mesh caches
wer not cleared. This usually happens through the depsgraph but it needs to be
done manually here. Most changes are some refactoring to deduplicate derived
mesh freeing code.

This functios are declared in BKE_paint.h header and using
SculptSession structure which is also declared there.
Anyway, does not make sense such a splitting of header and
implementation files, better be consistent here.

Allow separate control for tex/mask/cursor overlay. This commit implements
separate overlays for mask textures and cursor curves. The user can turn on
