2008-11-01RNA / Data APIBrecht Van Lommel
This is the first code for the Data API, also known as RNA system in the 2.5 Branch. It does not include a user interface, and only wraps some Scene properties for testing. It is integrated with Scons and Makefiles, and compiles a 'makesrna' program that generates an RNA.c file. http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/BlenderDev/Blender2.5/DataAPI http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/BlenderDev/Blender2.5/RNA The changes are quite local, basically adding a makesrna module which works similar to the makesdna module. The one external change is in moving genfile.c from blenloader to the makesdna module, so that it can be reused by the RNA code. This also meant changing the DNA makefiles. It seems to be doing dependencies correct still in my tests, but if there is an issue with the DNA not being rebuilt this commit might be the one causing it. Also it seems for scons the makesdna and makesrna modules are compiling without warnings. Not a new issue but this should be fixed. The RNA code supports all types as defined in the Data API design, so in that sense it is fairly complete and I hope that aspect will not have to change much. Some obviously missing parts are context related code, notify() functions for updates and user defined / ID properties.
2008-01-07Patch to change license to GPL only, from GSR.Chris Want
2007-04-28Part 2 of 64 bits fixing; the files.Ton Roosendaal
The good news; previously written 64 bits are still valid! All fixes appeared to be possible in code, no versioning patches needed. :) That also removes the I AM STUPID 64 bits ban from the code. The bad news: I couldn't get a 64 bits Blender running here (ghost-mac issues... it has to be recoded using Quartz to be able to run 64 bits). So what I have tested was: 32 bits binary: - Appending/linking data from 64 bits file. - Reading 64 bits chained library-linked files (file -> file -> etc) - Linking 32 bits files with 64 bits files This has to be tested for 64 bits too. Will drop in IRC now to help. Note: part 3 is fixing memory issues for addressing > 4 GB data. A first start has been made for a blenlib API function.
2006-03-31FREE_WINDOWS was declaring a typedef for __int64. __int64 was alredy defined.Campbell Barton
so WIngws' GCC was seeing it as typedef long long long long... and not compiling. Added an ifndef around this decleration. safe solution. but probably remove the typedef entirely. - Cam
2005-08-03 - removed BLO_findstruct_offset (obsolete)Daniel Dunbar
- remove python access to Optimal and Subsurf flags (they don't work this way anymore, I suppose need to replace with python access to modifiers but not going to do right now). - removed interface access to OPTIMAL mode, needs to be rethough... this means at the moment subsurfs outside editmode always draw and render all edges
2004-01-12Historical commit... error found in DNA code! <blush>Ton Roosendaal
It is just too hard to describe, just that it didnt check for changing arrays well enough, causing contents of array textfield[] to be copied in array text[].... Anyhoo, this fixes the grey text, as showed up in brokens commit of saturday. Thanks Matt! :)
2003-05-25Support for building bf-blender under windows with gcc (huge thanks toChris Want
Florian Eggenburger). Full instructions are in doc/README.windows-gcc. Main differences from Florian's patch: - the 'lib' dir should now be the same level as the 'blender' dir (rather than being a subdir of 'blender'). This is consistent with the other platforms that bf-blender supports (tuhopuu will also adopt this convention hopefully soon). - the script 'free_windows-env.mk' is no longer needed ... see the docs about how this is overcome (again, tuhopuu will hopefully also follow this route soon). - the dlltool dir has it's own Makefile that builds all of the needed stub libraries from the dll's in cvs.
