This is the conventional way of dealing with unused arguments in C++,
since it works on all compilers.
Regex find and replace: `UNUSED\((\w+)\)` -> `/*$1*/`
|
|
Use a shorter/simpler license convention, stops the header taking so
much space.
Follow the SPDX license specification: https://spdx.org/licenses
- C/C++/objc/objc++
- Python
- Shell Scripts
- CMake, GNUmakefile
While most of the source tree has been included
- `./extern/` was left out.
- `./intern/cycles` & `./intern/atomic` are also excluded because they
use different header conventions.
doc/license/SPDX-license-identifiers.txt has been added to list SPDX all
used identifiers.

MSVC used to warn about const mismatch for arguments passed by value.
Remove these as newer versions of MSVC no longer show this warning.

This commit adds functionality for operations that require pixel
translation or resizing on "Full Frame" mode, allowing to adjust
their canvas. It fixes most cropping issues in translate, scale,
rotate and transform nodes by adjusting their canvas to the result,
instead of the input canvas.
Operations output buffer is still always on (0,0) position for
easier image algorithm implementation, even when the
canvas is not.
Current limitations (will be addressed on bcon2):
- Displayed translation in Viewer node is limited to 6000px.
- When scaling up the canvas size is limited to the
scene resolution size x 1.5 . From that point it crops.
If none of these limitations are hit, the Viewer node displays
the full input with any translation.

This is a code refactor in preparation of supporting canvas
compositing. See {D12466}.
No functional changes, all canvases are at (0,0) position matching
tiled implementation.

Adds full frame implementation to "Rotate", "Transform" and
"Stabilize2D" nodes.
To avoid sampling twice when concatenating scale and rotate
operations, a `TransformOperation` is implemented with all
the functionality.
The nodes have no functional changes.

Adds full frame implementation to this node operations.
No functional changes.
Includes a new operation method `init_data` used to initialize any data
needed after operations are linked and resolutions determined.
Once tiled implementation is removed `initExecution` may be renamed
to `init_rendering` and `init_data` to `init_execution`.

Link sockets are always connected to inserted translate or scale
operation `Color` sockets even when they have different data type.
This causes crashes on full frame mode when operations read inputs
with non expected datatypes.
Because data type conversions need to be executed before, convert
resolutions must ensure same datatypes are linked.

This replaces header include guards with `#pragma once`.
A couple of include guards are not removed yet (e.g. `__RNA_TYPES_H__`),
because they are used in other places.
This patch has been generated by P1561 followed by `make format`.

Developers should add non license comments as separate comment blocks.
No need for separator text.
- Contributors
This is often invalid, outdated or misleading
especially when splitting files.
It's more useful to git-blame to find out who has developed the code.

complex node
The issue here is that we can not read scale from socket when determining
dependent area of interest. This area will depend on current pixel. Now fall
back to more stupid but reliable thing: if scale size input is connected to some
nodes, we use the whole frame as area of interest.

in SocketReader.
Distinguish the 3 different methods for acquiring pixel color values (executePixel, executePixelSampled, executePixelFiltered).
This makes it easier to keep track of the different sampling methods (and works nicer with IDEs that do code parsing).

Originally issue was discovered when using stabilization and movie distortion
nodes, but in fact issue was caused by render layer node always doing nearest
interpolation. Now made it so this node will respect sampler passed to it's
executePixel function and do an interpolation.
Added two new functions to do bilinear/bicubic interpolation in float buffer
with variable number of components per element, so it could interpolate 1, 3
and 4 component vectors. This functions currently mostly duplicates the same
functions from imageprocess.c and it should actually be de-duplicated. Think
it's ok to leave a bit of time with such duplication, since functions should
be generalized one more time to support byte buffers, which could backfire on
readability.
Also removed mark as complex from stabilization node, which isn't needed sine
int fact this node is not complex.
