2012-06-04mask mode for clip editor developed by Sergey Sharybin, Pete Larabell and ↵Campbell Barton
myself. see: http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/User:Nazg-gul/MaskEditor note - mask editing tools need continued development, feather option is not working 100%
2011-11-07Camera tracking integrationSergey Sharybin
=========================== Commiting camera tracking integration gsoc project into trunk. This commit includes: - Bundled version of libmv library (with some changes against official repo, re-sync with libmv repo a bit later) - New datatype ID called MovieClip which is optimized to work with movie clips (both of movie files and image sequences) and doing camera/motion tracking operations. - New editor called Clip Editor which is currently used for motion/tracking stuff only, but which can be easily extended to work with masks too. This editor supports: * Loading movie files/image sequences * Build proxies with different size for loaded movie clip, also supports building undistorted proxies to increase speed of playback in undistorted mode. * Manual lens distortion mode calibration using grid and grease pencil * Supervised 2D tracking using two different algorithms KLT and SAD. * Basic algorithm for feature detection * Camera motion solving. scene orientation - New constraints to "link" scene objects with solved motions from clip: * Follow Track (make object follow 2D motion of track with given name or parent object to reconstructed 3D position of track) * Camera Solver to make camera moving in the same way as reconstructed camera This commit NOT includes changes from tomato branch: - New nodes (they'll be commited as separated patch) - Automatic image offset guessing for image input node and image editor (need to do more tests and gather more feedback) - Code cleanup in libmv-capi. It's not so critical cleanup, just increasing readability and understanadability of code. Better to make this chaneg when Keir will finish his current patch. More details about this project can be found on this page: http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/User:Nazg-gul/GSoC-2011 Further development of small features would be done in trunk, bigger/experimental features would first be implemented in tomato branch.

and endif() which is no longer needed.
2010-06-06finish cleanup to cmake editors, also removed some stuff from scons thats ↵Campbell Barton
not needed.

2010-05-21Blender TIFF supportMatt Ebb
* Removed dynamic linking libTIFF code and change it to static linking (built into the blender executable). Dynamic linking made things a fair bit more complicated and wasn't working at all before on OS X - the dylib didn't exist and wasn't being copied. Since TIFF is more heavily depended upon now in Blender, it makes sense to make it less 'optional' and more in line with other libraries. I've updated both CMake and scons, and CMake on OS X/64bit works fine. It's now up to other platform/build system maintainers to enable this for their respective platforms (Campbell will check it for linux). For windows, and non-64bit osx, we need static libtiff libraries in /lib. I've added options WITH_TIFF for CMake and WITH_BF_TIFF for scons, so if blender won't build because of this, you should be able to disable these options until your build system has been updated. * Bonus feature: while doing this, I added support for loading 16bit and 32bit per channel TIFFs - they get converted to Blender's float buffers. Handy for zbrush displacement maps!

2010-01-19patch [#20690] Cut Linking for Logic BricksCampbell Barton
from Dalai Felinto (dfelinto) cutting kinks now works the same as in the node editor.
2010-01-08Added the svn revision number to the splash screen (when buildinfo is Matt Ebb
enabled). Also fixed cmake so buildinfo works. Note to all: ** Please mention the revision number when making a bug report **
2009-12-17OSX vs OpenMP : implement workaround to fix crashes when using mop from a ↵Damien Plisson
background thread Fix# 20043 & 20392 The issue is that OSX lib does not implement TLS (Thread Local Storage), so libgomp uses pthread functions to read/write thread specific vars. But this implementation is currently (gcc 4.2) buggy : the write function is called only at lib start (in main thread), and the var is undefined for background thread. The workaround is to perform this gomp_tls_key var write at beginning of background threads that use openMP. (Currently: render & fluidsim)
2009-11-21patch [#19796] GLEW update by Mitchell Stokes (Moguri)Dalai Felinto
GLEW update to version 1.5.1 [11-03-08] this opens room for Geometry Shader support. * - Brecht, Campbell told me you did some local changes in order to make it right in Linux. I get to you in order to know what those changes are (or feel free to commit them directly)
2009-09-25Merge of itasc branch. Project files, scons and cmake should be working. ↵Benoit Bolsee
Makefile updated but not tested. Comes with Eigen2 2.0.6 C++ matrix library.
2009-09-06white space commit. (2 spaces -> tab).Campbell Barton
Was annoying to use a different editor for cmake only. theeth says this should be ok with gsoc and merges from branches.
2009-08-19cmake cleanup (remove unused includes, make some within IF checks)Campbell Barton
2009-08-18CMake/WarningsCampbell Barton
* WITH_GAMEENGINE and WITH_BULLET were being added to the compiler flags, only define in areas that use them. * removed C++ unix warnings by adding -Wno-invalid-offsetof -Wno-sign-compare. the py api uses invalid offsets for attributes. * removed C unix -Wnested-externs warning, these are everywhere in blender. * removed unused BGE python headers * undefine _XOPEN_SOURCE and _POSIX_C_SOURCE in the BGE, python redefines. * renamed USE_BULLET in collision.c to WITH_BULLET for consistency
2009-08-15- remove UNSET becuase it only works with newer versions of cmake,Campbell Barton

2009-07-30BF2.5: First commit of smoke code.Daniel Genrich
Not working: a) rendering (since volumterics branch is not merged yet) b) moving collision objects of any kind c) saving of collision objects (because that's what I am working on) d) pointcache e) A bunch of other things I already know of So please do not report any bugs on this one yet :-)
2009-07-03cmake support for building without fluidsimCampbell Barton
2009-05-06Big, big commit!!Diego Borghetti
1) Remove WITH_FREETYPE2 from code, so now blender always need freetype2 2) Remove the old bmfont 3) Remove ftfont and bFTGL library 4) Implement a new BLF_draw_default function for place that still need/use the old BMF api. I try to update both, scons and cmake, but I only can test with make, so hope all work fine. MSVC is broken, but I don't have Windows, things to search and fix are any reference to WITH_FREETYPE2, FTGL and BMFONT (take in care that blenkernel also have a BKE_bmfont.h, this don't have anything to do with bmfont). Always have to link/include the freetype2 library Remove any reference to libbmfont Remove any reference to libftfont Remove any reference to libbftgl (or libbFTGL)
2009-03-182.50: svn merge https://svn.blender.org/svnroot/bf-blender/trunk/blender ↵Brecht Van Lommel
-r18677:19317 Notes: * Sequence transform strip uses G.scene global, this is commented out now, should be fixed. * Etch-a-ton code was most difficult to merge. The files already in 2.5 got merged, but no new files were added. Calls to these files are commented out with "XXX etch-a-ton". editarmature.c and transform_snap.c were complex to merge. Martin, please check? * Game engine compiles and links again here for scons/make/cmake (player still fails to link).
2009-01-29Added CMake files needed for new blenfont module.Nicholas Bishop
Note to bdiego: this module seems to depend on ftfont, which is only compiled with the INTERNATIONAL build setting, however it seems blenfont should work regardless of that setting.
2009-01-042.5 / CleanupNathan Letwory
- remove Verse support. This will be brought back in The Future (probably jiri + me) This means 5k lines less in blenkernel. - fix two small errors for global cleanup, now compiles properly with FFMPEG enabled too.
2008-12-31Added WITH_PYTHON as a cmake optionCampbell Barton
2008-12-31Added some missing directory includes for CMake. Still some linker errors to ↵Nicholas Bishop
