Activating a gizmo used the windows eventstate which may have values
newer than the event used to activate the gizmo.
This meant transforms check for the key that activated transform
could be incorrect.
Support passing an event when calling operators to avoid this problem.

Annotation tool is used as a general mark tool for many add-ons. To be able to detect when an annotation is done is very handy to integrate the annotation tool in add-ons and other studio workflows.
The new callback names are: `annotation_pre` and `annotation_post`
Both callbacks are exposed via the Python module `bpy.app.handlers`
Example use:
```
import bpy
def annotation_starts(gpd):
print("Annotation starts")
def annotation_done(gpd):
print("Annotation done")
bpy.app.handlers.annotation_pre.clear()
bpy.app.handlers.annotation_pre.append(annotation_starts)
bpy.app.handlers.annotation_post.clear()
bpy.app.handlers.annotation_post.append(annotation_done)
```
Note: The handlers are called for any annotation tool, including eraser.

- Rename ED_view3d_win_to_delta `mval` argument to `xy_delta` as it
as it was misleading since this is an screen-space offset not a region
relative cursor position (typical use of the name `mval`).
Also rename the variable passed to this function which also used the
term `mval` in many places.
- Re-order the output argument of ED_view3d_win_to_delta last.
use an r_ prefix for return arguments.
- Document how the `zfac` argument is intended to be used.
- Split ED_view3d_calc_zfac into two functions as the `r_flip` argument
was only used in some special cases.

Using flags makes checking multiple modifiers at once more convenient
and avoids macros/functions such as IS_EVENT_MOD & WM_event_modifier_flag
which have been removed. It also simplifies checking if modifier keys
have changed.

Use a shorter/simpler license convention, stops the header taking so
much space.
Follow the SPDX license specification: https://spdx.org/licenses
- C/C++/objc/objc++
- Python
- Shell Scripts
- CMake, GNUmakefile
While most of the source tree has been included
- `./extern/` was left out.
- `./intern/cycles` & `./intern/atomic` are also excluded because they
use different header conventions.
doc/license/SPDX-license-identifiers.txt has been added to list SPDX all
used identifiers.

Caused by {rBaa0ac0035a0d}.
Similar solution to {rBc0fdaf700a5}.
|
|
Bug introduced in {rBaa0ac0035a0d}.
The invalid depth fallback was changed to `FLT_MAX` in order to match the
annotation and gpencil operations.
This broke the `Interactive Light Track` operator which invalidates the
operation if the depth value is `1.0f`.
The chosen solution was to change the value tested in the annotation and
gpencil operations.

When cut an stroke using the option Flat Caps, the falt was not done if the cut was done in the middle of the stroke.
Now the flat is applied to the segments created and also some cleanup of the code done.
|
|
Operations such as erasing with occlusion and drawing on the surface
require reading the depth buffer.
However, this is being done with minimal efficiency.
Currently, to read the depth corresponding to each point of the new stroke,
a ReadPixel is called to send a message to the GPU and read the depth of
the corresponding pixel in the VRAM.
The communication between GPU and CPU is known to be a slow operation so
it is good to be avoided.
Therefore, save the entire depth buffer in a cache to be read directly
from the RAM.
(Also the `ED_view3d_autodist_depth` and `ED_view3d_autodist_depth_seg` have
been removed since they are no longer used).

Use arrays for wmEvent coordinates, this quiets warnings with GCC11.
- `x, y` -> `xy`.
- `prevx, prevy` -> `prev_xy`.
- `prevclickx, prevclicky` -> `prev_click_xy`.
There is still some cleanup such as using `copy_v2_v2_int()`,
this can be done separately.

Previously, this option was not exposed in the UI, only for the clip editor.
There were also multiple rna properties that did the same thing for each of the 2D editors.
There was also an issue where the property enum items were the same as the 3d view which didnt make much sense.

The depth cache (located in `RegionView3D::depths`) is used for quick
and simple occlusion testing in:
- particle selection,
- "Draw Curve" operator and
- "Interactive Light Track to Cursor" operator,
However, keeping a texture buffer in cache is not a recommended practice.
For displays with high resolution like 8k this represents something
around 132MB.
Also, currently, each call to `ED_view3d_depth_override` invalidates
the depth cache. So that depth is never reused in multiple calls from
an operator (this was not the case in blender 2.79).
This commit allows to create a depth cache and release it in the same
operator. Thus, the buffer is kept in cache for a short time, freeing
up space.
No functional changes.

Now `ED_view3d_backbuf_depth_validate`, `ED_view3d_draw_depth` and
`ED_view3d_draw_depth_gpencil` are unified in `ED_view3d_depth_override`.
This new function replaces `ED_view3d_autodist_init`.
Also, since `ED_view3d_depth_update` depends on the render context, and
changing the context is a slow operation, that function also was removed,
and the depth buffer cached is now updated inside the new unified drawing
function when the "bool update_cache" parameter is true.
Finally `V3D_INVALID_BACKBUF` flag has been renamed and moved to
`runtime.flag`.

This option joins any stroke with an end near the actual stroke. Now it is not limited to the last stroke, any stroke in the same layer for the actual frame can be joined. The join can join two strokes drawing a third stroke.
If the end and the start of the result stroke are very small, the stroke is changed to be cyclic automatically.
There is a limit distance to join the stroke, if the distance is greater than this value, the strokes are not joined. Actually, a constant, threshold distance is used, but we could expose
as a parameter in the UI in the future.
The tool can be used with freehand drawing or with primitives.
Note: Great part of the patch is just a refactor of the old code to make it accessible and to keep code organized.

If the annotation draw operator is used, enable the annotations in the current area.
Before this change, some editors had the annotation flag set to OFF, but this could be solved with a versioning code, but this did not solve the root problem. The user can disable annotation visibility in the overlay or side panel, depending on the editor. If the user uses the annotation tool and this flag is OFF, the annotation is not visible, and this is not correct. With this patch, every time the user uses the tool, the annotation visibility flag is set to ON to ensure the annotation is visible.
This solves the problem of T82273, T79578 and T80294
