Also fix inconsistency with apply transform
(modified shape-keys for meshes but not curve/lattice)

D395 from Henrik Aarnio with some improvements.

Changed curve active point from pointer to index. Allows curve active point to be saved to file and retained between modes for free. Also some small optimisations by removing pointer look up code.
- Made active point access functions into BKE API calls.
- Fixes operators where curve de-selection resulted in unsel-active point.
- Split curve delete into 2 functions

by Kevin Mackay (yakca)
The operator follows roughly the same behaviour as the split operator for a mesh (Ykey).
|
|
Without this, bezier curves at 12 resolution are very high detail for many tasks when converted from freehand strokes.
so add the option to convert 1:1 grease pencil points to curve polygons.
also add use_handles option to curve conversion which is used when converting beziers to poly lines.

which have been removed.
|
|
object types were already in editmode.

1. Two new boolean options have been added to the operator: "deselect"
and "toggle".
2. The previous behavior of "extend" (toggling the selection) has
been moved to the "toggle" option.
3. "extend" now only extends the selection, it never deselects.
4. "deselect" is pretty self-explanatory: it deselects (i.e. opposite
of extend).
5. The built-in keymap has been changed to use "toggle" where
"extend" was used before for this operator, to maintain the
previous behavior in the default keymap.
In short, this works towards making "extend" and "deselect" fully
consistent across all selection tools (adding to and removing from
selection, respectively), but still preserves the old behavior
as well.

- Make sure functions are named in way BKE_<object>_<action> (same way as RNA callbacks)
- Make functions which are used by mball.c only static and remove their prototypes
from public header file.
Further cleanup is coming.

- curve undo now runs ED_curve_updateAnimPaths() again.
- comment out unneeded index setting.

added some missing functions too - which are not used yep but should be there for api completeness.

without the underscores these clogged up the namespace for autocompleation which was annoying.
|
|
Issue was caused by direct call of transforn operator from extrude and duplicate,
made them macro of duplicate/exturde and transform, so now repeating works nicely.
|
|
This funcitonality simply wasn't implemented for curves yet, implemented it now.

ED_curve_updateAnimPaths now updates fcurves from animation data rather than
from local copy of curves: nurb and point index from keyIndex data gets
updated in this function and for correct handling undo stuff copy of
fcurves is stored in UndoCurve.
Additional changes:
- Revert of rev33640 and more proper fix: do not copy remained
spline-related rna fcurves after renaming pathes but all the rest
fcurves woulddbe copied back to animation data
- Refresh graph and dopesheet editor after updating animation data
|
|
===================
Update fcurves RNA pathes after making changes to curve topology, so
animation will no longer lost after edit and wouldn't lead to crash.
Will be very useful for RotoBezier addon.
Also NodeKeyIndex renamed to CVNodeIndex due to node is an entity from
another module and better not used in others.

On entering editmode Curve/Nurbs, the undo buffer was not
correct; storing old Curve/Nurbs object name. This caused
for example the Operator tool redo options to fail; it added
another curve on first use (with user pref "enter editmode).
Solved with adding good undo push + nicer code for curve and
nurbs naming.

flagged as PROP_THICK_WRAP.
Also use const char in many other parts of blenders code.
Currently this gives warnings for setting operator id, label and description since these are an exception and allocated beforehand.

Fix #21498: Edit curve Shape key /252_r 27318
Added full support of shape keys for curves and nurbs surfaces including
topology changing in edit mode, undo stuff, updating relative keys when
working under basis and so on.

This is replacement of old "Select every Nth" operator with
de-select strategy to make the same behaviour as for meshes.

to keep same behavior)
2. Add action parameter to Select_All_Toggle operators, rename to Select_All.
Options are Toggle (default), Select, Deselect, Invert (same as select swap). This makes it possible to map separate hotkeys for select all and deselect all.
NOTE for Aligorith: I didn't change animation operators for select_all which already had an Invert operator. These should be fixed eventually.

Keymaps are now saveable and configurable from the user preferences, note
that editing one item in a keymap means the whole keymap is now defined by
the user and will not be updated by Blender, an option for syncing might be
added later. The outliner interface is still there, but I will probably
remove it.
There's actually 3 levels now:
* Default builtin key configuration.
* Key configuration loaded from .py file, for configs like Blender 2.4x
or other 3D applications.
* Keymaps edited by the user and saved in .B.blend. These can be saved
to .py files as well to make creating distributable configurations
easier.
Also, user preferences sections were reorganized a bit, now there is:
Interface, Editing, Input, Files and System.
Implementation notes:
* wmKeyConfig was added which represents a key configuration containing
keymaps.
* wmKeymapItem was renamed to wmKeyMapItem for consistency with wmKeyMap.
* Modal maps are not wrapped yet.
* User preferences DNA file reading did not support newdataadr() yet,
added this now for reading keymaps.
* Key configuration related settings are now RNA wrapped.
* is_property_set and is_property_hidden python methods were added.

|
* Objects now support up to 32767 material slots. It's easy to
increase this further, but I prefer not to increase the memory
usage of mesh faces, it seems unlikely that someone would
create 32767 distinct materials?
* Forward compatibility: the only thing you can potentially lose
reading a 2.5 file in 2.4 is object linking (instead of default
data), though usually that will go fine too. Reading files with
> 32 material slots in 2.4 can start giving issues.
* The ob->colbits variable is deprecated by the array ob->matbits
but I didn't remove the ob->colbits updates in very few places
it is set.
* I hope I changed all the relevant things, various places just
hardcoded the number 16 instead of using the MAXMAT define.
* Join Objects operator back. This is using the version from the
animsys2 branch coded by Joshua, which means it now supports
joining of shape keys.
* Fix for crash reading file saved during render.

There was very little structure in this code, using many globals
and duplicated code. Now it should be better structured. Most
things should work, the main parts that are not back yet are the
python plugins and markers. Notes:
* Blenfont is used for drawing the text, nicely anti-aliased.
* A monospace truetype font was added, since that is needed for
the text editor. It's Bitstream Vera Sans Mono. This is the
default gnome terminal font, but it doesn't fit entirely well
with the other font I think, can be changed easily of course.
* Clipboard copy/cut/paste now always uses the system clipboard,
the code for the own cut buffer was removed.
* The interface buttons should support copy/cut/paste again now
as well.
* WM_clipboard_text_get/WM_clipboard_text_set were added to the
windowmanager code.
* Find panel is now a kind of second header, instead of a panel.
This needs especially a way to start editing the text field
immediately on open still.
* Operators are independent of the actual space when possible,
was a bit of puzzling but got it solved nice with notifiers,
and some lazy init for syntax highlight in the drawing code.
* RNA was created for the text editor space and used for buttons.
* Operators:
* New, Open, Reload, Save, Save As, Make Internal
* Run Script, Refresh Pyconstraints
* Copy, Cut, Paste
* Convert Whitespace, Uncomment, Comment, Indent, Unindent
* Line Break, Insert
* Next Marker, Previous Marker, Clear All Markers, Mark All
* Select Line, Select All
* Jump, Move, Move Select, Delete, Toggle Overwrite
* Scroll, Scroll Bar, Set Cursor, Line Number
* Find and Replace, Find, Replace, Find Set Selected,
Replace Set Selected
* To 3D Object
* Resolve Conflict
|

them nicely repeatable, and splitting up the big edit_text
operator into individual operator so it's all nicely scriptable,
documented, configurable, etc..
* Insert Text, Line Break, Insert Lorem
* Toggle Case, Set Case, Toggle Style, Set Style, Set Material
* Copy Text, Cut Text, Paste Text, Paste File, Paste Buffer
* Move, Move Select, Delete
* Change Spacing, Change Character
Notes
* Text (datablock) to Object doesn't work yet, will need to
implement text editor context for that.
* Some shortcut keys don't work because screen/wm overrides them,
ctrl+x, ctrl+left/right. That override goes top down which works
well for some cases, but here we need to override in the other
direction.
* There's no unicode support in RNA, or the user interface code
for that matter, but text strings can contain these characters.
At the moment it stores a UTF-8 string in char arrays, which is
supposed to be nicely compatible with ascii. Seems reasonable to
add support for UTF-8 in the interface code, python bindings, ..
eventually?

Added add-primitive for Curve objects.
Shift+A, works as usual in our outside editmode.

- Brought back code for particle edit and fluidsim
- Sanitized code from globals and bad level calls,
so its ready to come back working.
- Fixed cirle selecting (Ckey now)
- Enabled undo for editmode curve, armature, particle
and lattice

Font object + editing back.
Was quite some work due to a myriad of globals all over!
Works nicely 100% local now.
To enable a single textedit operator, I've added a new
keymap entry KM_TEXTEDIT, which gives all keyboard events
to the handler. Also had to add a new keymap-add function
to force a keymap handler in beginning of region handlers.
In future this can be used to prioritize handlers.
Also: split off the arrow keys (frame change) to a separate
region level handler. Can be set with default flag in
regiontype->keymapflag ED_KEYMAP_FRAMES

Another one back: editcurve.c
- removed global editNurb everywhere
(cu->editnurb now has listbase with edit data)
- also added 'active bpoint' and 'active nurb' in
Curve struct
- editmode in/out works, mouse/border select works
