This makes it possible to calculate orientation from functions
that don't have the context.

- New operator property to toggle edge panning in the keymap:
This is disabled by default to avoid edge-panning in cases where it
gets distracting, such as adding a new node. Only the explicit
translate operator(s) (GKEY or drag) have this enabled now.
- Restore the initial view rect on edge pan cancel:
The initial view rect is now stored in the edge pan operator data.
When an operator with edge panning is cancelled it can now call the
`UI_view2d_edge_pan_cancel` function to restore the original View2D
rect.
- Less delay in node editor scrolling:
Delay is useful when scrolling through long lists, such as in the
outliner, but makes node scrolling feel sluggish and unresponsive.
The lower scroll speed here makes a faster response the better option.
- Zoom influence feature:
Somewhat slower scrolling in UI-space when zoomed out. With the 0.5
zoom influence factor nodes behave as if zoom factor is halved,
otherwise it gets too fast when zoomed out. Previously scrolling would
always be constant-speed in UI space, now it's half-way between UI
space and node (view) space.

'orient_type'
`orient_index` is a more comprehensive value as it reveals both the type and index.

Simple change that shows all the enums used in the transform code and helps
to better understand the role of the members of the struct TransInfo.
It also allows the IDE to show the name of the value represented by the
member instead of a number that needs to be consulted.

Remove the condition preventing orientation from being obtained out of
the 3d View context.
Also pass the `ob` and `obedit` arguments obtained from the caller.

Make it obvious which values are written to.

This replaces header include guards with `#pragma once`.
A couple of include guards are not removed yet (e.g. `__RNA_TYPES_H__`),
because they are used in other places.
This patch has been generated by P1561 followed by `make format`.

The redo panel does not consider the position of the mouse.
So it is not possible to know the direction to redo the operator.
The solution is to add a new `direction` parameter that can be
saved and used for redo.

Add transform_snap.h header which includes DNA enum.

Deduplicate the code and use the same logic used to
calculate individual elements in `t->values_final[0]`.

The sculpt mode transform tool applies the sculpt pivot transformation to all vertices, taking XYZ symmetry into account.
This commit also includes an operator to set the pivot point initial position.

Supports parent/child chains with mixed selections.
Currently accessible from the pivot popover
(may be moved along with the other options here).

This fits better with intended flag usage.

Since pependicular snap depends on `snapTarget` it is important to indicate where this target is so as not to confuse users.
So draw a pivot where the target is and a dotted line toward the perpendicular snap point.

Based on feedback from animators, this is useful to keep as a view
option (as in 2.7x).
Now the transform gizmos can be enabled from the popover,
the tools still work for location/scale/rotation.
The transform tool has been removed.

Add Shift+F to transform points opacity in Edit mode

Transform orientation was previously related to constraints,
recent changes meant it was used even when not constraining to an axis.
Now transform orientation is separate from axis constraints.
|
|
- Add XYZ option.
- Orientation now works as expected.
Now a redo for rotation works logically,
setting the axis to Z & the orientation to view.

While \file doesn't need an argument, it can't have another doxy

Move \ingroup onto same line to be more compact and
make it clear the file is in the group.

BF-admins agree to remove header information that isn't useful,
to reduce noise.
- BEGIN/END license blocks
Developers should add non license comments as separate comment blocks.
No need for separator text.
- Contributors
This is often invalid, outdated or misleading
especially when splitting files.
It's more useful to git-blame to find out who has developed the code.
See P901 for script to perform these edits.

Done using:
source/tools/utils_maintenance/c_sort_blocks.py

This aims to resolve a conflict where some users want to keep keyboard
axis setting global, even when the orientation is set to something else.
Move/rotate/scale can optionally each have a separate orientation.
Some UI changes will be made next.

Use 3D cursor from the scene (was previously used for local-view).

Since this is no longer mesh only, move out of mesh,
rename next.

This should be purely an implementation change,
for end users there should be no functional difference.
The entire key configuration is in one file with ~5000 lines of code.
Mostly avoiding code duplication and preserve comments and utility
functions from the C code.
It's a bit long but for searching and editing it's also convenient to
have it all in one file.
Notes:
- Actual keymap is shared by blender / blender_legacy
and stored in `keymap_data/blender_default.py`
This only generates JSON-like data to be passed into
`keyconfig_import_from_data`, allowing other presets to load and
manipulate the default keymap.
- Each preset defines 'keyconfig_data'
which can be shared between presets.
- Some of the utility functions for generating keymap items still
need to be ported over to Python.
- Some keymap items can be made into loops (marked as TODO).
