2011-02-21I swear, it was just an innocence change in guardedalloc!Nathan Letwory
The butterfly wing flap, causing a nice storm in the rest of blender. Now all dependencies should point ok again. CMakers, do double-test.
2011-02-14made most variables which are only used in a single file and not defined in ↵Campbell Barton
header static for blenlib, blenkernel and editors.
2011-01-30remove nan-makefilesCampbell Barton
2011-01-07split BKE_utildefines.h, now it only has blender specific defines like GS() ↵Campbell Barton
MAKE_ID, FILE_MAXDIR, moved the generic defines to BLI_utildefines.h. no functional changes.
2011-01-03DAG_id_tag_update was being called with non object ID's and OB_RECALC_* ↵Campbell Barton
flags which only apply to objects. harmless but misleading.
2010-12-23rename blenderlib to blender_add_libCampbell Barton
2010-12-17remove some paranoid NULL checks, since the pointers are used already.Campbell Barton
2010-12-08use lowercase for cmake builtin names and macros, remove contents in else() ↵Campbell Barton
and endif() which is no longer needed.
2010-12-05Dependency graph: changed DAG_id_flush_update to DAG_id_tag_update. Now itBrecht Van Lommel
only tags the ID and does the actual flush/update delayed, before the next redraw. For objects the update was already delayed, just flushing wasn't yet. This should help performance in python and animation editors, by making calls to RNA property update quicker. Still need to add calls in a few places where this was previously avoided due to bad performance.
2010-11-29include headers in cmake source, added a script to check for consistency, ↵Campbell Barton
reporting missing headers & C files. this is important so IDE's using CMake integration always get blender headers. - QtCreator & MSVC for eg, probably others too.
2010-11-17use 'const char *' by default with RNA functions except when the value is ↵Campbell Barton
flagged as PROP_THICK_WRAP. Also use const char in many other parts of blenders code. Currently this gives warnings for setting operator id, label and description since these are an exception and allocated beforehand.
2010-10-23use explicit file paths for CMake rather then globing, This is recommended ↵Campbell Barton
by cmake devs. globbing vs explicit is discussed here. http://www.cmake.org/pipermail/cmake/2008-December/025694.html Practical implications are: - developers need to keep CMakeLists.txt files up to date. - Users wont get strange linking errors if they build after a file is added, since CMake detects CMakeLists.txt is modified and automatically reconfigure.
2010-10-16most unused arg warnings corrected.Campbell Barton
- removed deprecated bitmap arg from IMB_allocImBuf (plugins will need updating). - mostly tagged UNUSED() since some of these functions look like they may need to have the arguments used later.
2010-10-15tag UNUSED() for operator exec() and invoke() functions.Campbell Barton
2010-08-23rna: move metaball.active_element to metaball.elements.activeCampbell Barton
added rna funcs... elem = metaball.elements.new() metaball.elements.remove(elem)
2010-08-11Update address in license block.Guillermo S. Romero
2010-08-08remove unused includesCampbell Barton
2010-07-22Fix de/select all operator naming for consistencyMatt Ebb
2010-07-20- correct some spelling errors.Campbell Barton
- remove FreeCamera struct (wasnt used) - remove world color alpha values (not used anywhre).
2010-07-17reverting commit r28693. Making backspace a 3rd delete key.Campbell Barton
We already have 2 keys for delete, no need to add a 3rd, better use backspace only when it makes sense or allow users to hook it up to something.
2010-07-05Fix #22694: rendering exits editmode. Problem was due to incorrect fix forBrecht Van Lommel
bug #20091 in revision 24989, crash when rendering in metaball editmode.
2010-07-02revert previous auto-naming change for meta elements, Matt Ebb
broke the name-based grouping.
2010-06-28remove some warningsCampbell Barton
2010-06-27Fix [#22564] Object name by object typeMatt Ebb
Restored auto-naming newly created objects by type, for Mesh, Lamp, Meta
2010-06-06finish cleanup to cmake editors, also removed some stuff from scons thats ↵Campbell Barton
not needed.
2010-06-04have cmake build editors as different libs like scons and nan-makefilesCampbell Barton
2010-05-10Added backspace as an alternative to the X key, for deleting things.William Reynish
2010-04-25correct typo'sCampbell Barton
2010-04-18remove config.h references, was added for automake build system rev around ↵Campbell Barton
124-126 but isnt used by any build systems now.
2010-03-23more lint includesCampbell Barton
Only source/blender/editors/ dir, should not give errors on different platforms Only removing: UI_*.h, ED_*.h, WM_*.h, DNA_*.h, IMB_*.h, RNA_*.h, PIL_*.h
2010-03-22spaces -> tabs, (4 spaces == 1 tab, only for white space preceding text)Campbell Barton
2010-02-12correct fsf addressCampbell Barton
2010-02-11batch remove .'s used with RNA_def_struct_ui_textCampbell Barton
2010-01-12Fix [#20644] new curve sets itself to the origin, but the pivot to the cursorMatt Ebb
+ Cleaned up the nurbs spin operator and gave it properties rather than relying on context
2009-12-10rename operators TFM_OT_* --> TRANSFORM_OT_*Campbell Barton
2009-11-301. Extend option for 3d view border select now does something (default True ↵Martin Poirier
to keep same behavior) 2. Add action parameter to Select_All_Toggle operators, rename to Select_All. Options are Toggle (default), Select, Deselect, Invert (same as select swap). This makes it possible to map separate hotkeys for select all and deselect all. NOTE for Aligorith: I didn't change animation operators for select_all which already had an Invert operator. These should be fixed eventually.
2009-11-24Made select operator return FINISHED only when it did something (only ↵Martin Poirier
PASSTHROUGH otherwise)
2009-11-22Patch #19953: [2.5] repeated include entries in a number of SConscript filesJoshua Leung
Thanks for the patch Jeff Doyle (nfz)
2009-11-10Math LibBrecht Van Lommel
* Convert all code to use new functions. * Branch maintainers may want to skip this commit, and run this conversion script instead, if they use a lot of math functions in new code: http://www.pasteall.org/9052/python
2009-10-29various small fixesCampbell Barton
- undo stops all running jobs (operator redo was crashing with threaded render) - adding new armatures was crashing if there was no valid view3d - transform with an active hidden object would crash
2009-10-08Key ConfigurationBrecht Van Lommel
Keymaps are now saveable and configurable from the user preferences, note that editing one item in a keymap means the whole keymap is now defined by the user and will not be updated by Blender, an option for syncing might be added later. The outliner interface is still there, but I will probably remove it. There's actually 3 levels now: * Default builtin key configuration. * Key configuration loaded from .py file, for configs like Blender 2.4x or other 3D applications. * Keymaps edited by the user and saved in .B.blend. These can be saved to .py files as well to make creating distributable configurations easier. Also, user preferences sections were reorganized a bit, now there is: Interface, Editing, Input, Files and System. Implementation notes: * wmKeyConfig was added which represents a key configuration containing keymaps. * wmKeymapItem was renamed to wmKeyMapItem for consistency with wmKeyMap. * Modal maps are not wrapped yet. * User preferences DNA file reading did not support newdataadr() yet, added this now for reading keymaps. * Key configuration related settings are now RNA wrapped. * is_property_set and is_property_hidden python methods were added.
2009-09-18Keymaps now have a poll() function, rather than adding/removingBrecht Van Lommel
their handlers based on notifiers, which is simpler and more reliable. This fixes for example editmode or uv edit keymaps not working when creating a new 3dview or image space.
2009-09-15UI tweaksWilliam Reynish
*Cleaned up Transform panel in n-key area. It's now single column so that this view can be nice and slim, while you can still access everything. This is especially important in edit mode where you cannot change the transform values numerically from the Properties. Transform properties don't seem to work for Metaball edit yet, so wasn't able to test this *Removed some lingering tools in curve transform and put them in the toolbar instead. *Improved alignment in toolbar *Made Image Properties use regular checkmark toggle buttons *Added Delete as an alternative to X key, as it was in 2.4x
2009-09-12many docstrings from Ron Walker and Luca (mindrones on IRC),Campbell Barton
only did a spot check on these, may need adjusting later.
2009-09-092.5: Object moduleBrecht Van Lommel
* Split object_edit.c into multiple files: object_add.c, object_edit.c, object_hook.c, object_relations.c, object_select.c, object_transform.c. * Rename files to have consistent object_ and mball_ prefix: object_shapekey.c, object_lattice.c, object_vgroup.c, mball_edit.c. * Added operators: * vertex group menu and set active * apply location, rotation, scale, visual transform (location is new) * make local * make vertex parent * move to layer * convert to curve/mesh (not finished yet) * Many small fixes for marked issues, but still much code to be cleaned up here...
2009-09-052.5Brecht Van Lommel
Notifiers --------- Various fixes for wrong use of notifiers, and some new notifiers to make things a bit more clear and consistent, with two notable changes: * Geometry changes are now done with NC_GEOM, rather than NC_OBJECT|ND_GEOM_, so an object does need to be available. * Space data now use NC_SPACE|ND_SPACE_*, instead of data notifiers or even NC_WINDOW in some cases. Note that NC_SPACE should only be used for notifying about changes in space data, we don't want to go back to allqueue(REDRAW..). Depsgraph --------- The dependency graph now has a different flush call: DAG_object_flush_update(scene, ob, flag) is replaced by: DAG_id_flush_update(id, flag) It still works basically the same, one difference is that it now also accepts object data (e.g. Mesh), again to avoid requiring an Object to be available. Other ID types will simply do nothing at the moment. Docs ---- I made some guidelines for how/when to do which kinds of updates and notifiers. I can't specify totally exact how to make these decisions, but these are basically the guidelines I use. So, new and updated docs are here: http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/BlenderDev/Blender2.5/NotifiersUpdates http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/BlenderDev/Blender2.5/DataNotifiers
2009-07-29 - Fix some things I missed in my last commitJiri Hnidek
- Change name of OBJECT_OT_object_add operator - Use new OBJECT_OT_object_add operator in space_info.py
2009-07-292.5 MetaBallsJiri Hnidek
- It is possible to work with MetaBalls in edit mode now - Added basic UI to the button window (feel free to change it :-)) - Header menus should work - Undo & redo should work - Removed global variable editelems and lastelem (moved it to the MetaBall struct) - All tools from old editmball.c was converted to the operators - Added lastelem to the RNA - Experimental: mb->editelems is only pointer at mb->elems or NULL (depends on Mode). ListBase of MetaElems is not duplicated in edit mode. Tested with scons at Linux and mac OS X TODO: - Recalc data after Undo or Redo - Solve issue with basic MetaBall and Python UI script (only base MetaBall object influence Wiresize and Threshold) - Fix orientation of manipulator in "Normal mode"
