2020-07-06Fix T77730: ShaderFx Missing Update NotifierHans Goudey
This adds a notification type for shaderfx so the properties editor can be properly notified to redraw. Another possible solution would be to also redraw the shaderfx tab with a ND_MODIFIER update, but this solution allows us to avoid some unecessary redraws too. This patch implements the list panel system D7490 for grease pencil shader effects. It also moves their drawing to a callback in ShaderFxTypeInfo in line with the extensible architecture refactoring goal T75724. This patch implements the list panel system D7490 for grease pencil modifiers. It also moves their drawing to a callback in GpencilModifierTypeInfo in line with the extensible architecture refactoring goal T75724. This also adds the "set_error" function for grease pencil modifiers, which hadn't been copied from mesh modifiers yet. The implementation is basically exactly the same as for the modifier patch (9b099c86123fc82). Thanks to Matias Mendiola (mendio) for providing mockups for many of the layout changes. This patch implements the list panel system D7490 for modifiers. It also moves modifier drawing to a callback in ModifierTypeInfo in line with the extensible architecture refactoring goal T75724. This adds a PanelRegister callback and utilities for registering panels and subpanels. It also adds the callbacks for expansion saving and drag and drop reordering described in D7490. These utilities, callbacks, and other common UI elements shared between modifiers live in MOD_ui_common.c. Because modifier buttons are now in panels, we can make use of subpanels for organization. The UI layouts also use the single column layout style consistently used elsewhere in Blender. Additionally, the mode-setting buttons are aligned and ordered consistently with the outliner. However, the large number of UI changes in this patch may mean that additional polishing is required in master. Only single word variable names are changed, no prefixed/suffixed names. Brecht van Lommel and Campbell Barton both gave me a green light for this convention change. Also ran clan clang format on affected files.

Using listener here, although I suspect we should be using message subscriber only. That said, this mimics the behaviour of the buttons main region. As for the original bug report what was happening was that when switching between viewlayers (or when creating one) we may not get the same active object. So the context breadcrumbs are different. And the bug itself was that we were missing a redraw on view layer change.

This should be purely an implementation change, for end users there should be no functional difference. The entire key configuration is in one file with ~5000 lines of code. Mostly avoiding code duplication and preserve comments and utility functions from the C code. It's a bit long but for searching and editing it's also convenient to have it all in one file. Notes: - Actual keymap is shared by blender / blender_legacy and stored in `keymap_data/blender_default.py` This only generates JSON-like data to be passed into `keyconfig_import_from_data`, allowing other presets to load and manipulate the default keymap. - Each preset defines 'keyconfig_data' which can be shared between presets. - Some of the utility functions for generating keymap items still need to be ported over to Python. - Some keymap items can be made into loops (marked as TODO). Moves the Properties editor context switching to a vertical tabs region. Design Task: T54951 Differential Revison: D3840 The tabs are regular widgets, unlike the 'old' toolshelf tabs. This means they give mouse hover feedback, have tooltips, support the right-click menu, etc. Also, when vertical screen space gets tight, the tabs can be scrolled, they don't shrink like the toolshelf ones. The tab region is slightly larger than the header. The tabs are scaled up accordingly. This makes them nicely readable. The header is quite empty now. As shown in T54951, we wanted to have a search button there. This should be added next. Implementation Notes: * Added a new region type, RGN_TYPE_NAVIGATION. * Having the tabs in a separate region allows scrolling of the tab-bar, unlike the toolshelf tabs. We might want to remove the scrollbars though. * Added a new region flag RGN_FLAG_PREFSIZE_OR_HIDDEN, to ensure the tab region is either hidden or has a fixed size. * Added some additional flags to support fine-tuning the layout in panel and layout code. * Bumps subversion.
