Now the mouse cursor will exactly follow the tilt/scale sliding area.
|
|
Was a mistake in coordinate handling: need to take possible offset
from the sliding area.
Mouse us still not fully perfectly follows changes of the tilt slide
area, but that is a separate issue.

Use a shorter/simpler license convention, stops the header taking so
much space.
Follow the SPDX license specification: https://spdx.org/licenses
- C/C++/objc/objc++
- Python
- Shell Scripts
- CMake, GNUmakefile
While most of the source tree has been included
- `./extern/` was left out.
- `./intern/cycles` & `./intern/atomic` are also excluded because they
use different header conventions.
doc/license/SPDX-license-identifiers.txt has been added to list SPDX all
used identifiers.

Use the ID.recalc flag to detect when updates after frame-change is
needed. Since comparing the last calculated frame doesn't take undo into
account (see code-comment for details).
`ID_RECALC_AUDIO_SEEK` has been renamed to `ID_RECALC_FRAME_CHANGE`
since this is not only related to audio however internally this flag is
still categorized in `NodeType::AUDIO`.

Use arrays for wmEvent coordinates, this quiets warnings with GCC11.
- `x, y` -> `xy`.
- `prevx, prevy` -> `prev_xy`.
- `prevclickx, prevclicky` -> `prev_click_xy`.
There is still some cleanup such as using `copy_v2_v2_int()`,
this can be done separately.

Rather self-explanatory. Never worked since the initial implementation.
It is possible to preserve lock-to-selection option with no selection
nowadays (since the fix for T84850). So now the Lock-to-Selection option
is fully under user control. Surely, the panning and zooming is also
properly supported now in the described scenario.

causing an unwanted jumps in the view.

Average selected tracks into the new one. This can be used to improve
stability of tracking on blurry or non-very-sharp feature shapes.
Averaging happens for all position, pattern corners and search area.
Disabled markers do not take effect on averaging. Keyframed flag is
copied from source.
Gaps in the source tracks will be linearly interpolated, to reduce
result track jump. Note that this only applies to gaps "inbetween".
This means that if an input track doesn't have markers in the
beginning/end of it, there is nothing to interpolate with and the
result track will jump.
Available from the Track panel, under the Merge category.

Approximately 138 changes in the spelling of compound words
and proper names like "Light Probe", "Shrink/Fatten", "Face Map".
In many cases, hyphens were used where they aren't correct, like
"re-fit". Other common changes include:
- "Datablock" -> "data-block"
- "Floating point" -> "floating-point"
- "Ngons" -> "n-gons"
These changes help give the language used in the interface
a consistent, more professional feel.

While it might be handy to have type-less functionality which is
similar to how C++ math is implemented it can not be easily achieved
with just preprocessor in a way which does not have side-effects on
wrong usage.
There macros where often used on a non-trivial expression, and there
was at least one usage where it was causing an actual side effect/bug
on Windows (see change around square_f(sh[index++]) in studiolight.c).
For such cases it is handy to have a function which is guaranteed to
have zero side-effects. The motivation behind actually removing the
macros is that there is already a way to do similar calculation. Also,
not having such macros is a way to guarantee that its usage is not
changed in a way which have side-effects and that it's not used as an
inspiration for cases where it should not be used.

The old convention was easy to confuse with ScrArea.
Part of https://developer.blender.org/T74432.
This is mostly a batch rename with some manual fixing. Only single word
variable names are changed, no prefixed/suffixed names.
Brecht van Lommel and Campbell Barton both gave me a green light for
this convention change.
Also ran clan clang format on affected files.

Cheap tip: anything that is not "Camel Case" and/or that is more than
a few words long should use `TIP_` translation, not `IFACE_` one.
Also added several missing strings (including the one reported in D5056

This change makes it so sound handles are created for evaluated scene,
sequencer and speakers. This allows to have properly evaluated animation
on them.
For the viewport playback sound uses regular dependency graph.
For the final render sound uses dependency graph created for render pipeline,
which now also contains sequencer and sound datablocks.
All the direct sound update calls are replaced with corresponding dependency
graph recalc tag.

Missing dependency graph update.
Ideally need to introduce more clear ID_RECALC flag, and maybe go over all
of the operators (some of them might not use dependency graph still).

While intent of such action is not very clear, there is no real
reason to forbid it.

This happened to be a bigger rabbit hole to hell than it originally seemed,
and there are higher priority design tasks to be handled (at this point high
priority design task is more important than high priority bug fix).
After talking to Brecht the decision was made to revert to the known isolated
issue, which will allow everyone in the studio work same as prior to last
Friday.
The remaining bits will be worked on after all the design tasks are out of
the way.
