This operator is available in the graph editor in the Drivers mode, and
allows quick cleanup of drivers marked as 'invalid'.

default
Now, when creating new keyframes in the graph editor by ctrl-clicking, only
the newly created keyframes will be selected. This is a little workflow tweak
to make it faster to work, as you no longer have to deselect all, and then
re-select the newly added keys in order to manipulate them.
The old behaviour (not modifying the selection status of the old keys) has been
kept, but is now available via Shift-Ctrl-Click.

copying all variables from one driver to another
This was a feature request from a few years back (IIRC from ZanQdo?) to make it
easier to reuse one set of driver variables across several different drivers.
Dev Notes:
* Finally it's done! All that trouble for two little buttons.
* Grr... cmake... grrr!

This commit introduces support for a number of new interpolation types
which are useful for motion-graphics work. These define a number of
"easing equations" (basically, equations which define some preset
ways that one keyframe transitions to another) which reduce the amount
of manual work (inserting and tweaking keyframes) to achieve certain
common effects. For example, snappy movements, and fake-physics such
as bouncing/springing effects.
The additional interpolation types introduced in this commit can be found
in many packages and toolkits (notably Qt and all modern web browsers).
For more info and a few live demos, see [1] and [2].

F-Curves
It is possible to get the old behaviour (handles excluded) by bringing up the
Operator Properties (F6) while in the Graph Editor (this doesn't work elsewhere
due to the context requirements of this stuff).

added some missing functions too - which are not used yep but should be there for api completeness.
* CDDM_set_mloop
* CDDM_set_mpoly
* BLI_mempool_count

without the underscores these clogged up the namespace for autocompleation which was annoying.
|
|
* Some cleanup, removed references to already deleted *_header.c files.
* Marked SpaceScript as deprecated and removed header. Will keep space for now though, as some script operators are there and Campbell might want to re-use the space later.

Ported joeedh's Euler Filter code from Python to C so that this is
more in line with the other Graph Editor tools - i.e. joeedh's version
only worked on the active bone's curves, while standard tools could
work with multiple bones/objects at the same time.
To use this new version of this operator:
1) Select all the F-Curves for all 3 of the components (XYZ) for the
euler rotations you wish to clean up. In the Graph Editor, they must
be one after the other (i.e. you can't have "RotX, RotY, something
else, RotZ")
2) Activate the operator from the Key menu in the Graph Editor
In an old test file I have floating around, this method did not appear
to be good enough to fix a very clear discontinuity in the middle of
the action, so I'll test some additional methods too
|
|
Not really a "bug", but it was on my todo anyways. Based on patch
[#26508] by Campbell, with a few modifications including extending
this to the Action/DopeSheet editor too.

|
Previous commit fixing rest of handle type keymaps renamed this
operator, but that brings it out of line with rest of animation editor
operators, so reverting that fix.
Also, made Action Editor/DopeSheet use same hotkey as Graph Editor for
setting handle types now (which is same as one used in 3D-View).

* Copy/Paste operators for F-Modifiers
Available in Graph and NLA Editors. Use the Copy/Paste buttons beside the 'Add Modifier' buttons.
Copy copies all the modifiers of the ACTIVE F-Curve or Strip depending on the editor.
Paste pastes modifiers from the buffer to all the selected F-Curves or Strips, adding the new modifiers to the ends of each list.
* 'Stepped Interpolation' F-Modifier
This modifier holds each interpolated value from the F-Curve for several frames without changing the timing.
This allows to preview motions 'on-twos' for example without altering the timing, or having to go through setting heaps of keyframes. In this case, Andy wanted to use this for CG <-> StopMo.

This commit introduces the Select More/Less Operators (Ctrl +/-) for keyframes. This works like the ones for curves, by only selecting/deselecting keyframes lying in the same F-Curve. Inter F-Curve selection is not done by this operator. That is the job for another one.
This is especially useful for F-Curves set in the 0-1-0 pattern (i.e. 3 keyframes forming localised peaks), where the peaks can be selected by clicking on them individually, and immediately surrounding '0' values are selected too using "Select More".

* Refactored the whole audaspace library to use float as sample format over all readers.
* Added new Readers like the linear resampler, envelope, lowpass, highpass and butterworth.
* Note: The butterworth filter isn't working correctly, some bug in there... Maybe also true for the envelope.
* Added a sound to f-curve operator that behaves mostly like the soundtracker script of technoestupido.

* Submenus displaying the options available for certain operators now will now show the hotkey for the operator on the menu entries.
* Added an option for mirroring keyframes in the Graph Editor which makes use of the new cursor
|
|
I've finally given in, and implemented a '2d-cursor' for the Graph Editor. This is simply represented as an additional horizontal line that meets with the current frame indicator, forming a cross-hair. It can be disabled from the View menu.
Currently, the only tool which takes this into account is the Snapping tools (Shift-S), where I've hooked up a tool I added some time ago.
TODO:
- expose this cursor to the transform tools for scaling/rotation options...

Keymaps are now saveable and configurable from the user preferences, note
that editing one item in a keymap means the whole keymap is now defined by
the user and will not be updated by Blender, an option for syncing might be
added later. The outliner interface is still there, but I will probably
remove it.
There's actually 3 levels now:
* Default builtin key configuration.
* Key configuration loaded from .py file, for configs like Blender 2.4x
or other 3D applications.
* Keymaps edited by the user and saved in .B.blend. These can be saved
to .py files as well to make creating distributable configurations
easier.
Also, user preferences sections were reorganized a bit, now there is:
Interface, Editing, Input, Files and System.
Implementation notes:
* wmKeyConfig was added which represents a key configuration containing
keymaps.
* wmKeymapItem was renamed to wmKeyMapItem for consistency with wmKeyMap.
* Modal maps are not wrapped yet.
* User preferences DNA file reading did not support newdataadr() yet,
added this now for reading keymaps.
* Key configuration related settings are now RNA wrapped.
* is_property_set and is_property_hidden python methods were added.

Main Feature:
* It is now possible to choose which AnimData block is the 'active' one for editing, and/or select them too. AnimData blocks are generally the dark blue and lighter-blue expanders (i.e. Scene, Object, Camera, Lamp, Curve, Armature, etc.)
* Objects are no longer selected/deselected when AKEY is used to toggle selection of channels. This was getting a bit annoying.
* Following on from selection of AnimData blocks, it is now possible to select/make active an AnimData block in the animation editors, and change the active action for that block via the 'Animation Data' panel in NLA Editor's properties region.
--> Be aware that user-counts are not totally handled correctly there yet, so some funky behaviour might be seen...
--> It is possible to assign a new action, or to assign an existing one, allowing to switch between actions as in the past with Actions/IPO Editors...
Other tweaks:
* Some code tweaks towards making the 'Euler Filter' feature for Graph Editor working sometime soon
* Added some backend code for snapping the values of keyframes to a single value. Still need to work out some UI for it though.
* Shuffled the code for ACT_OT_new() around, and removed the poll() callback so that it worked in NLA too.
* Fixed some more notifier bugs with deleting bones and a few other editmode operations for Armatures.

|
Now the mute/protect/expand/etc. toggles are drawn using UI widgets. This means that special event handling code to determine when they were clicked on is no longer needed, and also means that there can now be tooltips for these items too.
Also, added visibility toggles for ID-block expanders, which will cause all the F-Curves in the linked datablock to not get drawn. The backend filtering code to make this work will come later...

Cleanup of scroller drawing in 2D windows.
Before:
http://download.blender.org/institute/rt11.jpg
After:
http://download.blender.org/institute/rt12.jpg
Will add 'zoom' widget circles later, as mockupped here:
http://www.reynish.com/files/blender25/fcurve_scrollbar.png
Also note the scale values are inside scroller; drawing it
on top conflicts with current frame item and markers.
Currently scroller disappear entirely when view is total.
For Joshua:
To make sliders behave nicely, the boundbox (v2d->tot) has to
be refreshed on each change. I've added it in graph drawing
now, but it could be notifier based I guess... not sure what
the correct anim api call would be. Can discuss tomorrow!
On todo:
Layout config hints so people can make scroller positions swap.

FModifier
Started cleaning up FModifiers in preparation for allowing them to be used on NLA Strips.
This commit separates the 'Built-in Function' mode for the Generator modifier out into its own modifier, since it was being quite frequently used (and the RNA wrapping for this used to be quite hackish).
BACKWARDS COMPATABILITY WARNING:
Old files with FModifiers saved (i.e. old 2.5 files, but not any others) will not load correctly as a result of these changes (the wrong modifiers will be shown). I've decided that there are not likely to be many files affected by this yet, but doing this will result in a much nicer modifiers-define list in the long run.

For now, some of these polls may be a bit too restrictive, but at least we have some unified+cleaned bases to work from now (instead of relying on the generic ED_operator_area_active).
|
|
* Insert Keyframe (IKEY) operator for Graph Editor
* Renamed the DopeSheet version to make it more consistent with the other keyframing operators
|
|
As with the DopeSheet, the names of operators in the Graph Editor have been cleaned up, and operators have been added to menus as appropriate to show their availability.
Tweaked a few DopeSheet operator names to be more in line with the Graph Editor equivalents, and vica versa.
TODO: now, the operator poll callbacks here need checking...
|
|
* Fix buttons jumping around when resizing and zoom. Part of this was
adding a tiny a 0.001f offset in UI_view2d_view_ortho, otherwise the
rounding is unpredictable (used to be 0.375f, but that was disabled).
* Fix various issues with zooming, panning panels. V2D_LOCKOFS_X/Y is
now taken into account in more places in the view2d code, to avoid
zooming into the center or panning out of the view.
* Remove "Free" align mode in buttons window (it's not really useful).
* View3D/Graph/Image editors now use the same PanelType system as the
buttons window, means some deprecated panel code could be removed.
* Some small visual tweaks for panels.
* View 2D Reset operator (Home key), to reset zoom and panning for panels.
* Added argument to set number buttons as sliders (slider=True for itemR).
* Ignore labels for button alignment (doesn't look right).
* Fix some use of context.main in py scripts, should get data from active
object instead.
* Fix autotexspace -> auto_texspace in py script.

This feature takes a 'snapshot' of the visible+selected F-Curves, and displays these in the background as 'ghosts curves' in the background. Such curves are drawn semi-transparent, slightly darker, and with dotted lines.
To use, simply click the 'curve' button beside the Auto-Snapping selector. To clear, simply click that button again (with a different icon now).
These 'ghost curves' are stored per Graph Editor instance, and are not saved to file (i.e. per session only). They are useful to be used as guides when refining the shape of existing curves.
|
|
Now it is possible to add more keyframes to the 'active' F-Curve by simply Ctrl-LMB clicking in the graph space.
NOTE: more advanced polling callbacks are needed in the Graph Editor...
|
|
- use select as a suffix eg UV_OT_loop_select -> UV_OT_select_loop
- Each select all operator was using slightly different wording...
select_all, deselect_all, de_select_all, select_de_select_all -> select_all_toggle
- selection -> select
- POSE_OT_select_connected -> POSE_OT_select_linked to match other operators
- NODE_OT_delete_selection -> NODE_OT_delete since its not used in other operators
- ANIM_OT_previewrange_define -> ANIM_OT_previewrange_set to match other operators
- NODE_OT_fit_all -> NODE_OT_view_all to match other operators
- View2D_OT_* -> VIEW2D_OT_* to match VIEW3D
- View2D_OT_view_downscroll -> VIEW2D_OT_scroll_down more logical
- removed MARKER_OT_mouseselect_extend and made extend a boolean property of MARKER_OT_mouseselect
- MARKER_OT_mouseselect -> MARKER_OT_select
- GROUP_OT_group_remove -> GROUP_OT_objects_remove more logical since its removing objects from groups
- MESH_OT_removedoublesflag -> MESH_OT_remove_doubles
- redundant words MESH_OT_split_mesh -> MESH_OT_split, OBJECT_OT_object_delete -> OBJECT_OT_delete
renamed selection operator properties
extend_select -> extend
column_select -> column
select_children_only -> children_only
... Since these are all in the context of selection operators there is no need for the extra 'select' in the property name.
Updated docs

|

- Completed cleaning up the drawing code so that F-Curves with modifiers now get drawn to reflect this.
- Added a temporary operator to add modifiers (hotkey Ctrl-Shift-M)
|
|
composed of samples.
This operator can be activated using the 'Alt-C' hotkey for now, and operates on selected + editable F-Curves. This is currently still highly experimental, and does crash
I've implemented this as a way to test out the FPoints/samples code, which will be used to provide better support of the dense F-Curves which result from importing Mocap/BVH data. These should use considerably less memory + have a few additional benefits over keyframes when they're working in a stable fashion.
