Some languages like Chinese or Japanese take three or four bytes per char...
Also fixed some missing translation markers for UI header messages.

Regression caused by changing how video length is calculated,
however similar problems could be caused by strip length changing on-disk.

It was not implemented and fallback RNA-based approach was not
correct since there's no filepath property of sound strip.
|
|
Changing path of a sound strip (select strip->C->'Path/Files') opened a file browser without filter for sound files, so sound files weren't visible.
Also, for movie/image files, now only movie **or** image files are visible in the file browser by default (instead of both).
Reported by @venomgfx, thanks!

creates frame stills.
Also fixes cache handling for those strips, they need more radical flushing...
|
|
We have callbacks for that, they also do some checks and help ensure things are done
correctly. Only place where this is assumed not true is blenloader (since here we
may affect refcount of library IDs as well...).

We need a temp list of Text effect strips here, to be able to sort it as we want...
|

Would write 1.04 seconds as `00:00:01,40` instead of `00:00:01,040`...
Anyway, we already have BLI API for timecodes, much better to add
SubRip timecode format there, heavily simplifies code.
To be backported to final 2.76.

operator.
It's needed especially for the menu entry "recover auto save" where you'd like to have the files sorted by date most of the time but it could be useful in other places too.
There should be no functional change in other areas, I just added the missing parameter (FILE_SORT_ALPHA).
Was a request from @sebastian_k at #BCon13, so at least one guy needs it ;)

- Add blentranslation `BLT_*` module.
- moved & split `BLF_translation.h` into (`BLT_translation.h`, `BLT_lang.h`).
- moved `BLF_*_unifont` functions from `blf_translation.c` to new source file `blf_font_i18n.c`.

This code is not thread-safe and there's no easy way to synchronize
render and viewport threads for this operation, so for until we've
got some nicer solution we just disable dangerous buttons.

This commit adds a new operator that will compile the list of text
strips into an srt file. No positioning is supported yet but will
be added later.
The operator can be found in the effect panel in the strip properties.
|
|
Is pretty much what it says :)
Easy subtitles for everyone!
Supports size, positioning,
a cheap shadow effect (probably will need more work),
and autocentering on x axis.
Now you can go wild with long spanish names
in your soap opera videos.
Will probably be refined as days go by,
but at least it's now ready for testing.

Added BLI_path utility functions to decompose a path name and
extract the frame number. It should be useful in autocollapse
feature as well
|
|
Change paths operator can also have the same placeholder logic now

Scene Render Views
* Ability to have an arbitrary number of views in the scene
Missing Bits
============
First rule of Multi-View bug report: If something is not working as it should *when Views is off* this is a severe bug, do mention this in the report.
Second rule is, if something works *when Views is off* but doesn't (or crashes) when *Views is on*, this is a important bug. Do mention this in the report.
Everything else is likely small todos, and may wait until we are sure none of the above is happening.
Apart from that there are those known issues:
* Compositor Image Node poorly working for Multi-View OpenEXR
(this was working prefectly before the 'Use Multi-View' functionality)
* Selecting camera from Multi-View when looking from camera is problematic
* Animation Playback (ctrl+F11) doesn't support stereo formats
* Wrong filepath when trying to play back animated scene
* Viewport Rendering doesn't support Multi-View
* Overscan Rendering
* Fullscreen display modes need to warn the user
* Object copy should be aware of views suffix

This reverts commit ec03ab021f171bf529746bb440756fbc986b45e7.

If user cancels, there's an issue with leftover files.
Instead use a hash to record files that have akready been registered for
generation and skip them if so.
That should guarantee things will go smoothly and when a file exists it
is assumed to be valid.

* Enable operator for proxies now becomes set operator for selected and
can unset-set all options.
* Properties become read-only labels, only use operator to set proxies.

Enable proxies for all selected movie strips (won't do recursive

Generate proxies operator here, as well as in strip menu

Makes usage of those funcs much more clear, we even had mixed '!strcmp(foo, bar)'

This patch includes the work done in the terrible consequencer branch
that hasn't been merged to master minus a few controversial and WIP
stuff, like strip parenting, new sequence data structs and cuddly
widgets.
What is included:
* Strip extensions only when slipping. It can very easily be made an
option but with a few strips with overlapping durations it makes view
too crowded and difficult to make out.
* Threaded waveform loading + code that restores waveforms on undo (not
used though, since sound_load recreates everything. There's a patch for
review D876)
* Toggle to enable backdrop in the strip sequence editor
* Toggle to easily turn on/off waveform display
* Snapping during transform on sequence boundaries. Snapping to start or
end of selection depends on position of mouse when invoking the operator
* Snapping of timeline indicator in sequencer to strip boundaries. To
use just press and hold ctrl while dragging.
