Behaves in exactly the same way as image editor's color sampling.
Would be nice to display color managed color too, but that's for tomato branch.

This implements basic color grading modifiers in sequencer, supporting
color balance, RGB curves and HUE corrections.
Implementation is close to object modifiers, some details are there:
http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/User:Nazg-gul/SequencerModifiers
Modifiers supports multi-threaded calculation, masks and instant
parameter changes.
Also added cache for pre-processed image buffers for current frame,
so changing sequence properties does not require rendering of original
sequence (like rendering scene, loading file from disk and so)

Before this overlay would happen only for defined rectangle area,
now it's possible to show current / reference frames only, which
makes it possible to do more real slit view involving even displaying
frames on different monitors.
Still some work need to be done to clean interface up and support
displaying color information for reference shot.

space works again
This commit restores the support for using Grease Pencil in the Sequence Editor
image preview region, making it possible to scribble on footage for review
purposes again. Due to internal changes in how the Sequencer handles the image
drawing for this stuff (i.e. it is now fully based on View2D instead of trying
to implement its own little crazy offset+zoom stuff), a lot of the old code for
handling those offsets is no longer needed. Instead, one of the "standard" cases
is now used, and works quite well.
Bugfixes:
* View-space Grease Pencil drawing was done in wrong place (before view2d
restore)
* Grease Pencil entry in RNA had wrong/missing type
Credits:
* DingTo - initial patch/attempt at restoring support
* Aligorith - solved the "offset problems"

* Remove some non used *_button_register functions, panels are done in python.
* Remove do_node_region_buttons, was not used anymore.
Fix:
* Only show Grease Pencil panel in the Node editor, when there is a valid nodetree.

(also fixes special request from Ian for Mango)
Added operator to update actual content length of all selected strips.
Can be useful for scenes and movies as well after doing making changes to
scene/movie.
Can be improved further to deal better with cases when strip has got effect
and it's get reshuffled because of overlapping after changing it's length.

This adds movieclip input support to the sequencer, thereby making
undistorted and stabilized footage available without a seperate render step.
Also: removes some old cruft code from the sequencer:
* new_tstripdata wasn't used anymore
* StripElems were allocated for SCENE strips on full length, wasting memory
Added a comment, that hopefully makes things a little bit clearer:
StripElems are *only* usefull for MOVIE + IMAGE strips for all other strip
types one can set this pointer to NULL. (If that should cause otherwise
problems, then the code that doesn't check for NULL is to blame!)

added some missing functions too - which are not used yep but should be there for api completeness.
* CDDM_set_mloop
* CDDM_set_mpoly
* BLI_mempool_count

without the underscores these clogged up the namespace for autocompleation which was annoying.

from Bastien Montagne (mont29)
Only applied Sequencer Select Grouped functionality - similar to the one in object mode, select strips based on type, time, data etc.

This patch adds:
* support for proxy building again (missing feature from Blender 2.49)
additionally to the way, Blender 2.49 worked, you can select several
strips at once and make Blender build proxies in the background (using
the job system)
Also a new thing: movie proxies are now build into AVI files, and
the proxy system is moved into ImBuf-library, so that other parts
of blender can also benefit from it.
* Timecode support: to fix seeking issues with files, that have
a) varying frame rates
b) very large GOP lengths
c) are broken inbetween
d) use different time code tracks
the proxy builder can now also build timecode indices, which are
used (optionally) for seeking.
For the first time, it is possible, to do frame exact seeking on
all file types.
* Support for different video-streams in one video file (can be
selected in sequencer, other parts of blender can also use it,
but UI has to be added accordingly)
* IMPORTANT: this patch *requires* ffmpeg 0.7 or newer, since
older versions don't support the pkt_pts field, that is essential
for building timecode indices.
Windows and Mac libs are already updated, Linux-users have to build
their own ffmpeg verions until distros keep up.

after a hard cut, causing the new data to be trimmed.
- add change data operator to strip panel next to image file properties since editing every image manually isnt really usable.
- added new sequencer operator "Clear Offsets" (Alt+O), useful to reset the start/end frames around the strip data.
|
|
split up into operators
- change effect input
- change effect type
- change file data
Change plugin is not ported back yet.

mouse coords would with cont. grab would wrap at short.
use mouse coords as int rather then short.
this problem still happens on linux because of XTranslateCoordinates
|
|
view3d_get_view_aligned_coordinate() could modify the event->mval.
|
|
|
|
|
|
- remove some redundant declarations
- changed VertexTangent and Path structs to avoid compiler alignment padding.
|
|
'const char's,.
Only one functional change where Transform orientations passed "" to BIF_createTransformOrientation() which could then have the value written into.
|
|
* No way currently to know the order of effect inputs, so I added a swap operator for the inputs.
* Also added the effect inputs to the strip property panel (weren't even in rna before). These are not yet editable, but can be very helpful in determining what the inputs are if the strip is too short to see the name in the timeline.

time to help compare for color grading.
- Okey sets the border in the display.
- Okey resets the frame offset in the sequencer timeline.
- ghost icon in the header can enable/disable.
- frame offset can be relative or absolute (lock icon)
Not very happy that this commit adds a call to BKE_animsys_evaluate_animdata(scene, ...) in do_build_seq_array_recursively()
without this the offset frames dont have fcurves applied.
Though we will need something like this for prefetch frames to work too.

- Remove SEQ_DESEL, better not have a flag which includes ~, use ~SEQ_ALLSEL instead.
- Rename recurs_dupli_seq -> seqbase_dupli_recursive
- Rename deep_dupli_seq -> seq_dupli_recursive

needed for durian so we can swap out preview AVI's for EXR sequences.

Just about all sequencer operator poll functions were requiring an active
sequence editor space type. This wasn't necessary for most of them, and prevented use
from scripts, console, etc.

* Zoom and Pan should work now (thanks Aligorith for reviewing)
* mostly removed ancient drawing code
* Fit preview in Window still has issue, HOME key in preview area should be working though
|
|
note: for inter-scene copying this uses a hack because Colin needs it because half his scene was scrambled by blender.
|
|
seq.end_frame_final
these expose the final start and end after offsets are applied. when set this is like grabbing the handle and moving it.
* made swapping strips shuffle effects and check for overlap.
|
|
* allow sequence swapping even when the strip has an effect
* only recalc the effect when its needed
|
|
Separated preview drawing into own ARegion, this should make using View2D possible
The Sequencer now has three view types: Sequencer, Preview and split Sequencer/Preview.
Changing the preview can be done either by the combobox in the header or toggling through those types with CTRL+TAB.
Notes:
* Icon for split Sequencer/Preview view missing still.
* Naming items in the comboboxes can be improved (just Preview instead of Image Preview?)
Next steps:
* bringing back View2D handling (zoom/pan) for image preview
* experimenting with splitting the Preview ARegion for In/Out editing

- Started cleaning up the sequencer drawing code by firstly decoupling the different draw modes from each other (i.e. timeline view doesn't call image view).
- Also separated out a few distinct few phases in sequencer-timeline drawing into different functions instead of being lumped in the single one. Recoded part of this to make it less ugly too...
- Made markers get drawn again in the sequencer timeline view

- more api like functions for adding movie, sound & images (easier to use from pyrna api)
- operators share more settings
- renamed get_last_seq() to active_seq_get() - same for set.
|
|
* new operator: set rendersize (SEQUENCE_OT_rendersize) sets the render output size in the current scene to the size of the active sequence strip
* works for movies and images right now
* TODO: currently only works if image or movie strip has been loaded (as in showing the preview for example) - reason is that otherwise the size is not initialized in the strip
|
|
Swap active sequence with the sequence on the right (CTRL+R) or left (CTRL+L).
was small Durian wish.
Note: in find_next_prev removed the code to find selected only if sel was != 0
I believe it should be possible to pass -1 in the case I want to find the next strip
regardless of selection state.

New Operator for 'Move current frame to next/previous edit point'
Keymap: PageUp/PageDown
(small Durian wish)
|
|
Keymaps are now saveable and configurable from the user preferences, note
that editing one item in a keymap means the whole keymap is now defined by
the user and will not be updated by Blender, an option for syncing might be
added later. The outliner interface is still there, but I will probably
remove it.
There's actually 3 levels now:
* Default builtin key configuration.
* Key configuration loaded from .py file, for configs like Blender 2.4x
or other 3D applications.
* Keymaps edited by the user and saved in .B.blend. These can be saved
to .py files as well to make creating distributable configurations
easier.
Also, user preferences sections were reorganized a bit, now there is:
Interface, Editing, Input, Files and System.
Implementation notes:
* wmKeyConfig was added which represents a key configuration containing
keymaps.
* wmKeymapItem was renamed to wmKeyMapItem for consistency with wmKeyMap.
* Modal maps are not wrapped yet.
* User preferences DNA file reading did not support newdataadr() yet,
added this now for reading keymaps.
* Key configuration related settings are now RNA wrapped.
* is_property_set and is_property_hidden python methods were added.
