2022-03-30Cleanup: Move UV edit parameterize code to geometry moduleAleksi Juvani
This will allow reusing it elsewhere, such as in a geometry node. Differential Revision: https://developer.blender.org/D14453
2022-03-14RNA: Generate property declerations header, solving msg-bus C++ incompatibilityJulian Eisel
Lets `makesrna` generate a `RNA_prototypes.h` header with declarations for all RNA properties. This can be included in regular source files when needing to reference RNA properties statically. This solves an issue on MSVC with adding such declarations in functions, like we used to do. See 800fc1736748. Removes any such declarations and the related FIXME comments. Reviewed By: campbellbarton, LazyDodo, brecht Differential Revision: https://developer.blender.org/D13837
2022-02-11File headers: SPDX License migrationCampbell Barton
Use a shorter/simpler license convention, stops the header taking so much space. Follow the SPDX license specification: https://spdx.org/licenses - C/C++/objc/objc++ - Python - Shell Scripts - CMake, GNUmakefile While most of the source tree has been included - `./extern/` was left out. - `./intern/cycles` & `./intern/atomic` are also excluded because they use different header conventions. doc/license/SPDX-license-identifiers.txt has been added to list SPDX all used identifiers. See P2788 for the script that automated these edits. Reviewed By: brecht, mont29, sergey Ref D14069
2022-01-30Cleanup: Cmake: remove unnecessary definitions for internationalizationAaron Carlisle
Previously, macros were ifdefed using the cmake option `WITH_INTERNATIONAL` However, the is unnecessary as withen the functions themselves have checks for building without internationalization. This also means that many `add_definitions(-DWITH_INTERNATIONAL)` are also unnecessary. Reviewed By: mont29, LazyDodo Differential Revision: https://developer.blender.org/D13929
2020-12-11Cleanup: sort cmake file listsCampbell Barton
2020-11-17Fix T82637: pack UV islands fails with some non-manifold meshesCampbell Barton
Edges with 3 or more connected UV's caused UV pack to fail. Instead of using functions from uvedit_parametrizer.c which are intended specifically for ABF/LSCM unwrapping, use a simpler method for packing which stores arrays of BMesh faces.
2020-09-12Cleanup: Remove GLEW dependencies outside of GL moduleClément Foucault
2020-07-09UV: path selection supportCampbell Barton
This adds support for path selection for vertex edge & face selection modes, matching mesh editing behavior, useful with the UV rip tool. Region select & edge tagging are currently not supported, although they could be added eventually.
2020-07-09Cleanup: move BMesh UV queries into their own fileCampbell Barton
2020-07-06UV: add rip toolCampbell Barton
New rip tool matching edit-mesh rip functionality. Useful as disconnecting UV's, especially for loops is inconvenient without this. This uses 'V' to rip, changing stitch to 'Alt-V'.
2020-05-04Cleanup: split selection operations into uvedit_select.cCampbell Barton
2019-04-24Cleanup: sort CMake include pathsCampbell Barton
2019-04-17ClangFormat: apply to source, most of internCampbell Barton
Apply clang format as proposed in T53211. For details on usage and instructions for migrating branches without conflicts, see: https://wiki.blender.org/wiki/Tools/ClangFormat
2019-04-14CMake: prepare for BLENDER_SORTED_LIBS removalCampbell Barton
No functional change, this adds LIB definition and args to cmake files. Without this it's difficult to migrate away from 'BLENDER_SORTED_LIBS' since there are many platforms/configurations that could break when changing linking order. Manually add and enable WITHOUT_SORTED_LIBS to try building without sorted libs (currently fails since all variables are empty). This check will eventually be removed. See T46725.
2019-02-05Cleanup: remove contributors for CMake filesCampbell Barton
Following removal from C source code. See: 8c68ed6df16d8893

2015-08-18Refactor translation code out of blenfontCampbell Barton
- Add blentranslation `BLT_*` module. - moved & split `BLF_translation.h` into (`BLT_translation.h`, `BLT_lang.h`). - moved `BLF_*_unifont` functions from `blf_translation.c` to new source file `blf_font_i18n.c`.
2014-10-08Ghost Context RefactorJason Wilkins

2013-05-28move BLO_sys_types.h -> BLI_sys_types.h (it had nothing todo with loading)Campbell Barton

2012-01-17Uv Tools branch GSOC 2011Antony Riakiotakis
========================= Documentation: http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/User:Psy-Fi/UV_Tools Major features include: *16 bit image support in viewport *Subsurf aware unwrapping *Smart Stitch(snap/rotate islands, preview, middlepoint/endpoint stitching) *Seams from islands tool (marks seams and sharp, depending on settings) *Uv Sculpting(Grab/Pinch/Rotate) All tools are complete apart from stitching that is considered stable but with an extra edge mode under development(will be in soc-2011-onion-uv-tools).

2010-11-29include headers in cmake source, added a script to check for consistency, ↵Campbell Barton
reporting missing headers & C files. this is important so IDE's using CMake integration always get blender headers. - QtCreator & MSVC for eg, probably others too.
2010-10-23use explicit file paths for CMake rather then globing, This is recommended ↵Campbell Barton
by cmake devs. globbing vs explicit is discussed here. http://www.cmake.org/pipermail/cmake/2008-December/025694.html Practical implications are: - developers need to keep CMakeLists.txt files up to date. - Users wont get strange linking errors if they build after a file is added, since CMake detects CMakeLists.txt is modified and automatically reconfigure.
