* Increased the number of Armature and Bone Layers from 16 to 32. Please note that older versions of Blender may not correctly resolve the layers that bones are on when loading new files. * Newly added objects are now made by default to allow locking of 4-component rotations using 4 separate locks (i.e. one by component) instead of requiring the obscure 'W' toggle (renamed '4L' now) to be enabled first. The objects in the default scene need modifying manually though.

I tried to make it integrate more with regular render but couldn't do it well, it still needs a 3D view to take the settings from, and can't run in a separate thread due to OpenGL. However, it is now rendering to an offscreen buffer which then gets displayed in the image window. This requires FBO's to be available, so a fallback creating a new window is still needed. Currently available from the Render menu in the top header.

In the Outliner, it is now possible to toggle per bone the selectability of the bone in the viewport, as for Objects using the restriction columns. This can also be set using the RNA-api. I've tested all commonly used tools IMO, but there may still be a few which I've missed. Please report those cases. PS. For some reason, the define was already there, but not connected up to anything. Can't remember why anymore, but here it is...

* Copy Rotation constraint "should" work ok for custom rotation orders now. It now converts both rotations to the form used by the owner. So far, this doesn't seem to have broken any of the test rigs in my test-suite, though new specimens for the hall of flakiness are always welcome. * Fixed many RNA wrapping bugs for Armature data. - Fixed a few wrong tooltips - Made proper refreshes for restpose/posed, etc. * Started converting special quaternion interpolation for Pose Sliding tools (push/relax/breakdown), though this doesn't seem to be working correctly yet. -->> Help to get these working right is welcome :)

Notifiers --------- Various fixes for wrong use of notifiers, and some new notifiers to make things a bit more clear and consistent, with two notable changes: * Geometry changes are now done with NC_GEOM, rather than NC_OBJECT|ND_GEOM_, so an object does need to be available. * Space data now use NC_SPACE|ND_SPACE_*, instead of data notifiers or even NC_WINDOW in some cases. Note that NC_SPACE should only be used for notifying about changes in space data, we don't want to go back to allqueue(REDRAW..). Depsgraph --------- The dependency graph now has a different flush call: DAG_object_flush_update(scene, ob, flag) is replaced by: DAG_id_flush_update(id, flag) It still works basically the same, one difference is that it now also accepts object data (e.g. Mesh), again to avoid requiring an Object to be available. Other ID types will simply do nothing at the moment. Docs ---- I made some guidelines for how/when to do which kinds of updates and notifiers. I can't specify totally exact how to make these decisions, but these are basically the guidelines I use. These are not used yet anywhere. * Centralized code that decides the name of array items based on subtype (XYZ, RGB), was copied in 3 places. * RNA_def_float etc functions still need to be update, will do this later together with another change.

* Fix crash loading particle AnimData. This crashed many BBB files. If you have a .blend file that crashes when loading it in 2.5, please mail me, I'd like to know. * Image window zoom ratio did not work correct with py 2.x. * Other minor fixes for image window RNA. * Buttons window now remembers the tab that was last clicked by the user, even if that tab is no longer available due to context, and then enable the tab again if the context for it is back. * Cleaned up buttons space DNA a bit, removing unused vars. * Armature bone rename outside edit mode did not call right function yet. * Armature layers are now editable even if lib linked. This is useful for proxies. For this purpose a PROP_LIB_EXCEPTION flag was added. Need to think over proxy / RNA a bit though, not sure what the requirements are yet. * Parent to Armature Deform now has options to create vertex groups, instead of always creating them.

* Changed update callbacks for several armature properties to do proper depsgraph flushing instead of sending redraw notifiers * Wrapped preview-range settings for Scene * Fixed bug with 'parent-type' enum menu for Object parent-type. The problem here was that PARSKEL was used and is still used for both Armatures and Lattices, but the lattice entry would always override armatures entry. Now, when dynamically building the list to display, the function to add these is given the specific item to use, and has been made to stop after the first match has been added. Hopefully this doesn't break anything else...

- Changing visible layers for armatures now sends notifiers - Made the bone buttons show the layers data TODO: I also tried making the bone buttons show for 'PoseChannels' instead of the raw bones since this is more correct for most editing that can be done (i.e. when posing). For editmode though, we'd need to wrap EditBones in some way? However, I couldn't seem to get this to work due to the way paths are resolved.

Read only access for now. * Inherited properties are not copied from the base anymore but iterated over. Patch by Vekoon, thanks! * Array get/set callbacks now do the whole array instead of getting an index. This is needed for some layers for example so python can set the array as a whole, otherwise the check that one layer has to be enabled at all times gets in the way. Also nicer for the C API. * Also some changes to returning pointers to make the API cleaner, got rid of the type() callback and instead let get() return PointerRNA with the type included.
