- Make sure functions are named in way BKE_<object>_<action> (same way as RNA callbacks)
- Make functions which are used by mball.c only static and remove their prototypes
from public header file.
Further cleanup is coming.

bpy.data.scenes.tag() was missing.

Note about long lines: I did not touch to two pieces of code (because I don’t see any way to keep a nicely formated, compact code, with shorter lines):
* The node types definitions into rna_nodetree_types.h
* The vgroup name functions into rna_particle.c

from Dan Eicher (dna)
--- from the tracker
Setting Screen.scene only uses the active screen through a call to CTX_wm_screen(C) instead of the actual referenced scene.
The attached py-op demonstrates this behavior, assuming at least two separate scenes in the VSE.

All suggested changes looked good to me, thx to Michael Färber for this list of changes!

===========================
Commiting camera tracking integration gsoc project into trunk.
This commit includes:
- Bundled version of libmv library (with some changes against official repo,
re-sync with libmv repo a bit later)
- New datatype ID called MovieClip which is optimized to work with movie
clips (both of movie files and image sequences) and doing camera/motion
tracking operations.
- New editor called Clip Editor which is currently used for motion/tracking
stuff only, but which can be easily extended to work with masks too.
This editor supports:
* Loading movie files/image sequences
* Build proxies with different size for loaded movie clip, also supports
building undistorted proxies to increase speed of playback in
undistorted mode.
* Manual lens distortion mode calibration using grid and grease pencil
* Supervised 2D tracking using two different algorithms KLT and SAD.
* Basic algorithm for feature detection
* Camera motion solving. scene orientation
- New constraints to "link" scene objects with solved motions from clip:
* Follow Track (make object follow 2D motion of track with given name
or parent object to reconstructed 3D position of track)
* Camera Solver to make camera moving in the same way as reconstructed camera
This commit NOT includes changes from tomato branch:
- New nodes (they'll be commited as separated patch)
- Automatic image offset guessing for image input node and image editor
(need to do more tests and gather more feedback)
- Code cleanup in libmv-capi. It's not so critical cleanup, just increasing
readability and understanadability of code. Better to make this chaneg when
Keir will finish his current patch.
More details about this project can be found on this page:
http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/User:Nazg-gul/GSoC-2011
Further development of small features would be done in trunk, bigger/experimental
features would first be implemented in tomato branch.

* Adds two new python handlers: scene_update_pre() and scene_update_post()
These run before and after Blender does a scene update on making modifications
to the scene.
* Datablocks now have an is_updated property. This will be set to true in the
above callbacks if the datablock was tagged to be updated. This works for the
most common datablocks used for rendering: object, material, world, lamsp,
texture, mesh, curve.
* Datablock collections also have an is_updated property. If this is set, it
means one datablock of this type was added, removed or modified. It's also
useful as a quick check to avoid looping over all datablocks.
* RenderEngine.view_update() can also check these properties, for interactive
viewport rendering.

Plus a few splits of very long lines…

This branch adds mostly organizational improvements to the node system by renaming the node folders and files. A couple of internal features have been added too.
Detailed information can be found on the wiki page:
http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/User:Phonybone/Particles2010
|
|
* Subversion bump (also for init_userdef_do_versions).
* Minor fix for compilation without ffmpeg.
|
|
- use NULL rather than 0 when used as pointers.
|
|
* versioning stuff for btheme->tv3d.speaker
* separating object.c speaker functions in own source file
Thanks Brecht for the suggestions.
|
|
Adds new speaker object type.
Notes:
* Needs some nice icons
* Quickily review by Joshua Leung (5 mins)
* Properties UI updated (with help of Thomans Dinges)
* Speakers have their own theme color
* No real audio functionality yet.
* Minor bug regarding lamps/lattices fixed in interface_templates.c
I personality tested:
* Creation, Deletion, Duplication
* Saving, Loading
* Library linking (incl. make local)
* Tracking
* Dope Sheet, Outliner
* Animation
* Drawing (incl. Theme)

of input/output sockets. Those can be linked to internal nodes just like links between regular nodes. In addition group sockets can be renamed and have a defined order, which can be modified, and they can be removed again.
More details can be found in the patch tracker description (#24883) and on the code.blender.org development blog.

- WITH_OPENJPEG wasn't defined for creator.c with CMake.
- remove shadowed/redefined vars.
- remove some unused RNA report args.
- re-arrange IMB_FILE_TYPES so IRIS is not the first format tested, since its not very common test JPEG and PNG first.
|
|
- rename rna collection structs Main prefix to BlendData: eg, MainObjects --> BlendDataObjects
- printing python collection now prints its type (when available)
- renamed shadowed vars in bpy_rna.c.
- when making functions static I also made debugging/test functions static, reverse and add definitions to headers instead.
|
|
paths as well as strings, support this with blender/rna too.
- bpy.data.*.load() functions were only accepting UTF-8 paths.
- rna functions/properties now accept byte values rather then strings for file paths.
- bpy.path.resolve_ncase now supports byte objects.
|
|
class type this avoids needing to use ugly lamp.type_recast() after changing type.
- default vertex color layer name was UTTex when added from python.
|
|
also make rna function for new images require width and hight args.
|
|
- move GS() define into DNA_ID.h
- add BLI_utildefines as an automatic include with makesrna generated files.
|
|
MAKE_ID, FILE_MAXDIR, moved the generic defines to BLI_utildefines.h.
no functional changes.
|
|
bpy.data.meshes.tag = True
But this was only useful for setting so make it a function for 2.5x.
bpy.data.objects.tag(False)
X3D: use tagging rather then a name dictionary, this fixes a bug where library name overlaps could mix up names.
|
|
use warning fix using const for RNA_parameter_set() arg.
|
|
bpy.data.node_groups.new(name, type)
made some minor changes.
|
|
Removing a scene would set the active scene, assuming the scene removed was the current scene. This broke UV Export which used a temp background scene.
|
|
flagged as PROP_THICK_WRAP.
Also use const char in many other parts of blenders code.
Currently this gives warnings for setting operator id, label and description since these are an exception and allocated beforehand.
|
|
- removed deprecated bitmap arg from IMB_allocImBuf (plugins will need updating).
- mostly tagged UNUSED() since some of these functions look like they may need to have the arguments used later.
