Practically all access to enum data is read-only.
|
|
Operators and their properties are two different types
Previously both operators and their properties are added
causing C operators to access the properties, Python the classes.
Favor consistency in this case so only Python classes are added.
|
|
Only add subclasses of: Menu, Panel, Header, UIList, Operator
This helps avoid unnecessary naming collisions,
See T52599 for details
|
|
|
|
Own error in recent type checks, in many cases the 'idname'
is used for the struct identifier, not the 'identifier'
which is the Python class name in this context.
|
|
Also sanity check macro-operator ID's.
|
|
Fixes T52463, error instead of crash.
|
|
We can't free the identifier before its used when
removing from the ghash.
|
|
* Static strings aren't needed anymore, use stack memory.
* Fix obscure leak on failed macro registration.
* Use prefix for wrappers exported from bpy module.

The absence of datablock properties "will certainly be resolved soon as the need for them is becoming obvious" said the [[http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Dev:Ref/Release_Notes/2.67/Python_Nodes|Python Nodes release notes]]. So this patch allows Python scripts to create ID Properties which reference datablocks.
This functionality is implemented for `PointerProperty` and now such properties can be created with Python.
In addition to the standard update callback, `PointerProperty` can have a `poll` callback (standard RNA) which is useful for search menus. For details see the test included in this patch.

This option makes an operator to not push a task to the undo stack if the previous stored elemen is the same operator or part of the same undo group.
The main usage is for animation, so you can change frames to inspect the
poses, and revert the previous pose without having to roll back tons of
"change frame" operator, or even see the undo stack full.
This complements rB13ee9b8e

ifdef’ing out defines in DNA/RNA is not a good idea, was breaking alternative keymaps loading
from splash screen e.g. (reported by Sergey over IRC, thanks).
|
|
Sorry for the noise :|
|
|
Seriuosly, guys... Please always check that kind of changes with and without affected option, and in full build case.

When WITH_INPUT_NDOF is disabled, 3D mouse handling code is removed
from:
- GHOST (was mostly done, finished the job)
- window manager
- various editors
- RNA
- keymaps
The input tab of user prefs does not show 3D mouse settings. Key map
editor does not show NDOF mappings.
DNA does not change.
On my Mac the compiled binary is 42KB smaller after this change. It
runs fine WITH_INPUT_NDOF on or off.

In most the last added operator is being handles.

Many keyboard layouts (italian, spanish, german...) have direct access to '+' key on main
keyboard area (not the numpad one), ans x11 has own define for this key, so use it instead
of generating an unkown key event.
Note that we most likely have much more missing 'specific' keycodes for non-US keyboard layout,
but think since we already had a 'minus' keyevent, supporting 'plus' one is totally consistent.
And we had a spare space in our defined values just for it even!
This keyevent is only supported/generated by x11 and cocoa Ghost backends for now,
neither SDL nor win32 seem to have matching key events...

No need to update keymap toggling expand.

This commit merges all the work done in the GPencil_Editing_Stage3 branch
as of ef2aecf2db981b5344e0d14e7f074f1742b0b2f7 into master. For more details
about the changes that this brings, see the WIP release notes:

Definitions could shadow local vars.
|
|
Similar to addons -> add-ons, for reading it fits better to hyphenate.
|
|
We need custom context here, those are often very short names so context collision is pretty easy.
Also some minor changes (and avoid shadowing varnames)...
|
|
It was possible to navigate into an unused temp screen
(using Ctrl+Arrow keys), but there was no way to navigate back out.
Now Ctrl+Arrows skips temp screens, and remove the ability to navigate away from a temp screen from RNA.

- Add blentranslation `BLT_*` module.
- moved & split `BLF_translation.h` into (`BLT_translation.h`, `BLT_lang.h`).
- moved `BLF_*_unifont` functions from `blf_translation.c` to new source file `blf_font_i18n.c`.

We already had that for global keymaps (used e.g. to generate shortcuts for menu entries),
but this wasn’t possible for modal keymaps yet (e.g. help message in header during
transforms and other modal operation).
This commit only adds needing background code, it does not change anything from user PoV.
Modal operators will be updated to use it in comming weeks.
Thanks to Campbell for revisions & suggestions. :)

This is a kind of sloppy-focus,
resolving long standing bug with loop-cut/knife/ruler /w quad-view.
Where activating a tool would lock onto one of quad-views,
especially problematic when activating from the toolbar or menus.
|
|
eg from operator invoke/execute:
self.options.is_grab_cursor
|
|
Term pointer is overloaded already.
|
|
Another one of those assert crashes when passing values != than 1 and 0
(in this case the value is -1)
Notes from reviewer:
--------------------
These should really be enums. since valid values are KM_ANY,
KM_MOD_FIRST, KM_MOD_SECOND.
But can see at some point this was changed from an enum so... I guess
this is the only way.

Our current keymap doesn't give us enough room to make such changes in
the event system. To fix small issues caused by this, we would need to do
drastic changes in Blender's keymaps and internal handling. It was worth
a try, but it didn't work.
I can write down a more descriptive statement in a few days, but for now
I need a break of this stuff.
|
|
And some general style cleanup as well (line length...).

Scene Render Views
* Ability to have an arbitrary number of views in the scene
Missing Bits
============
First rule of Multi-View bug report: If something is not working as it should *when Views is off* this is a severe bug, do mention this in the report.
Second rule is, if something works *when Views is off* but doesn't (or crashes) when *Views is on*, this is a important bug. Do mention this in the report.
Everything else is likely small todos, and may wait until we are sure none of the above is happening.
Apart from that there are those known issues:
* Compositor Image Node poorly working for Multi-View OpenEXR
(this was working prefectly before the 'Use Multi-View' functionality)
* Selecting camera from Multi-View when looking from camera is problematic
* Animation Playback (ctrl+F11) doesn't support stereo formats
* Wrong filepath when trying to play back animated scene
* Viewport Rendering doesn't support Multi-View
* Overscan Rendering
* Fullscreen display modes need to warn the user
* Object copy should be aware of views suffix

Design task: T42339
Differential Revision: D840
Initial implementation proposal: T41867
Short description:
With this we can distinguish between holding and tabbing a key. Useful
is this if we want to assign to operators to a single shortcut. If two
operators are assigned to one shortcut, we call this a sticky key.
More info is accessible through the design task and the diff.
A few people that were involved with this:
* Sean Olson for stressing me with this burden ;) - It is his enthusiasm
that pushed me forward to get this done
* Campbell and Antony for the code and design review
* Ton for the design review
* All the other people that gave feedback on the patch and helped to
make this possible
A big "Thank You" for you all!

Makes usage of those funcs much more clear, we even had mixed '!strcmp(foo, bar)'
and 'strcmp(foo, bar) == 0' in several places...
|
|
Make the UI API more consistent and reduce confusion with some naming.
mainly:
- API function calls
- enum values
some internal static functions have been left for now
|
|
Operators that trigger UI events (but nothing else)
were using 'CANCELLED' making it impossible to tell if an invoke
function failed, or opened a menu.
|
|
|
|
This commit merges the code in the pie-menu branch.
As per decisions taken the last few days, there are no pie menus
included and there will be an official add-on including overrides of
some keys with pie menus. However, people will now be able to use the
new code in python.

Thanks:
Campbell Barton, Dalai Felinto and Ton Roosendaal for the code review
and design comments
Jonathan Williamson, Pawel Lyczkowski, Pablo Vazquez among others for
suggestions during the development.
Special Thanks to Sean Olson, for his support, suggestions, testing and
merciless bugging so that I would finish the pie menu code. Without him
we wouldn't be here. Also to the rest of the developers of the original
python add-on, Patrick Moore and Dan Eicher and finally to Matt Ebb, who
did the research and first implementation and whose code I used to get
started.

* Expose is_tablet property to events to determine if event contains
tablet data.
* Expose tablet tilt for events as a 2D vector in python
|
|
Expose pressure from event system to python. This will return the tablet
pressure, if a tablet is present, or 1.0 if not.
