This feature is intended only for testing,
to automate simulating user input.
- Enabled by '--enable-event-simulate'.
- Disables handling all real input events.
- Access by calling `Window.event_simulate(..)`
- Disabling `bpy.app.use_event_simulate`
to allow handling real events (can only disable).
Currently only mouse & keyboard events work well,
NDOF, IME... etc could be added as needed.
See D4286 for example usage.

Was confusing eg: G_AUTOPACK belonged to G.fileflags, G_PICKSEL to G.f.

Use error from int conversion function.
|

There was no documentation at all, some very bad practices (like using
G.debug_value > 0 as some sort of global debug print switch), and even
an overlapping use of '1' value...
Also, python setter did not check for valid range (since this is a
short, not an int).

There is a new `bpy.app.timers` api.
For more details, look in the Python API documentation.

That feature will not be ready (or at least, not tested enough) to be
officially part of 2.80 beta. So we disable it by default, hidding it
behind a startup option (`--enable-static-override`), and a python
app var (`bpy.app.use_static_override`).
That way, people who really want to play with it can do it easily, while
not exposing/enabling non-production-ready feature by default.
Note that underlying override code remains active, i.e. files we do have
overridden data-blocks will be loaded correctly according to static override.

Terms get/set don't make much sense when casting values.
Name macros so the conversion is obvious,
use common prefix for easier completion.

This way we can add even more statistics, even one which will be print
to the console.
Would be nice if we also have verbosity level control.

Now it's possible to have debug messages for following things:
- Graph construction
- Graph evaluation
- Graph tagging

This was meant to be generic but introduced possible type errors
and unnecessary complication.
Replace with typed PyC_Tuple_PackArray_* functions.
Also add PyC_Tuple_Pack_* macro which replaces some uses of
Py_BuildValue, with the advantage of not having to parse a string.

Avoids setting exceptions inline,
also use Matrix_ParseAny for bmesh.ops.
Some inline exceptions are kept because they show useful details.

Adds bpy.app.factory_startup,
used to check if user scripts should be loaded.

Regression from rB036c006cefe471. We can't use self here, self is bpy.app, not pydescriptor of python path getsetter...
So for now, do not try to replace getsetter by actual value in bpy.app's dict,
just return static var generated on first run.
Should be safe for 2.78.

All in all, this patch adds an Alembic importer, an Alembic exporter,
and a new CacheFile data block which, for now, wraps around an Alembic
archive. This data block is made available through a new modifier ("Mesh
Sequence Cache") as well as a new constraint ("Transform Cache") to
somewhat properly support respectively geometric and transformation data
streaming from alembic caches.
A more in-depth documentation is to be found on the wiki, as well as a
guide to compile alembic: https://wiki.blender.org/index.php/

Many thanks to everyone involved in this little project, and huge shout
out to "cgstrive" for the thorough testings with Maya, 3ds Max, Houdini
and Realflow as well as @fjuhec, @jensverwiebe and @jasperge for the
custom builds and compile fixes.

Accessing `bpy.app.binary_path_python does search, then swaps its getset with the string it finds.
This caused a freed pointer to be stored in bpy.app's dictionary.
Fix by using the same string for get/set access.

This commits implements OpenVDB as an extra cache format in the Point
Cache system for smoke simulations. Compilation with the library is
turned off by default for now, and shall be enabled when the library is
present.

Not much to add, you can now clear previews from current .blend file, or a set of non-opened files.
Likewise, you can generate previews (for mat/tex, objects, groups, scenes, ...).

If you read the documentation, the numbers are not supposed to be exact
and also depend on the time when the call is made. The numbers can also
change quite quickly. It's only meant to give a rough measure of what is
going on.

Adds bpy.app.sdl to expose SDL version information.
When SDL is not available on a Linux system, certain Blender features
are silently disabled (like joystick support in the BGE). This change
is the first step towards making it more obvious why something isn't
working.
SDL information is exposed to Python via bpy.app.sdl, in the same way
as OCIO and OIIO information is exposed.
Generated system-info.txt contains SDL loading method (linked or
dynamically loaded by Blender) and SDL version number.

A development addon can be used now to enable the debug drawing, without
the need to add UI code for this in the release files.
The SimDebug feature should also get an overall build flag and use
function stubs unless enabled. That way any possibility of overhead in
releases is eliminated.

Current temporary data of Blender suffers one major issue - default 'temp' dir on Windows is never
automatically cleaned up, and can end being quite big when used by Blender, especially when we have
to store per-process data (using getpid() in file names).
To address this, this patch:
* Divides tempdir paths in two, one for 'base' temp dir (the same as previous unique tempdir path),
the other is a mkdtemp-generated sub-dir, specific to each Blender instance.
* Only uses base tempdir when we need some shallow persistance accross Blender sessions - and we always
reuse the same filename (quit.blend...) or generate small file (crash reports...).
* Uses temp sub-dir for heavy files like pointcache or renderEXRs (Save Buffer option).
* Erases temp sub-dir on quit or crash.
To get this working it also adds a working 'recursive delete' to BLI_delete() under Windows.
Note that, as in current code, the 'recover render result' hack-feature that was possible
with SaveBuffer option is still removed. A real renderresult cache feature will be added
soon, though.

Summary:
Version of those libraries might be useful to know.
- OIIO and OCIO is exposed via bpy.app.oiio and bpy.app.ocio.
There're "supported", "version" and "version_string" defined
in those modules.
- OSL is available as _cycles.osl_version and _cycles.osl_version_string.

Summary:
Old idea with changes since previous release tag
didn't work good enough. In most of the cases tag
was done in a branch hence not actually reachable
from the master branch.
Now change since release is gone, and date of
the latest commit is used instead.
The date is displayed in format YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm
in the splash.
New bpy.app fields:
- build_commit_timestamp is an unix timestamp of
the commit blender was build from.
- build_commit_date is a date of that commit.
- build_commit_time is a time of that commit.

- Use commit number since last annotated tag as a
revision number replacement. It'll eb followed
by 'M' symbol if there're local modification in
the source tree.
- Commit short SHA1 is included. Helps getting
information about commit used to build blender
with much faster.
- If build is not done from master branch, this also
will be noticed in the splash screen.
This commit also replaces revision stored in the
files with git-specific fields (change and hash).
This is kind of breaks compatibility, meaning
files which were saved before this change wouldn't
display any information about which revision they
were saved with. When we'll finally switch to git,
we'll see proper hash and change number since
previous release in the files, for until then
svn version will be used as a change number and
hash will be empty.
Not a huge deal, since this field was only used
by developers to help torubleshooting things and
isn't needed for blender itself.
Some additional tweaks are probably needed :)

- script execution is off by default
- if a blend file attempts to execute a script
this shows a message in the header with the action
that was suppressed (script/driver/game-autostart) and 2 buttons to either reload the file trusted, or to ignore the message.
- the file selector will always default to use the trust setting in the user preferences,
but reloading an open file will keep using the current setting (whatever was set before or set on the command-line).
- added SCons setting WITH_BF_PYTHON_SECURITY, this sets the default state for the user prefereces not to trust blend files on load.
... this option was in CMake before, but always off, now its enabled by default for SCons and CMake, and forced on in CMake for now.
