Line gesture use always the right side of the line as active (the area
of the mesh that is going to be modified) by default.
This adds the ability to change the active side when the line gesture is
active by pressing the F key.
This allows more freedom to position the line after starting the
gestures, as it won't be required to cancel the operation or undo if the
line was used in the wrong direction.

This patch adds a modal key to move the selection box/lasso/line while
drawing it. It also sets "repeat": False on the animation playback key
to prevent accidental playback if the spacebar is released after the
mouse button.

This adds a small gradient to the right side of the line to preview
which side of the mesh is going to be affected by the gesture operation.

We now use GPU_blend for enabling / disabling blending and explicitly
set the blend equation.
|
|
|
|
This make use of the GLStateStack functions for:
- `GPU_blend()`
- `GPU_blend_set_func()`
- `GPU_blend_set_func_separate()`
The goal is to unify them using an explicit state setting.
This will remove the need to use obscure blend functions

Ogl default is 4 but for almost all cases, blender use tightly
packed format. This avoid confusion and state change for the
common case.
The only case that __might__ need alignement is DDS loader
(untested) so leaving this as it is.

The old convention was easy to confuse with ScrArea.
Part of https://developer.blender.org/T74432.
This is mostly a batch rename with some manual fixing. Only single word
variable names are changed, no prefixed/suffixed names.
Brecht van Lommel and Campbell Barton both gave me a green light for
this convention change.
Also ran clan clang format on affected files.

There's a chance that this causes some issues becaue in some cases we
change from getting the window from context to getting it from somewhere
else.

This is in order to make the API more multithread friendly inside the
draw manager.
GPU_shader_get_uniform will only serve to query the shader interface and
not do any GL call, making it threadsafe.
For now it only print a warning if the uniform was not queried before.

The intention is to fix a too low default threshold on high DPI screen.
Users with high DPI screens that have increased the threshold to fix this
or liked the lower threshold will need to lower it again.
This is still somewhat of a guess, ideally this would be based on the
physical distance travalled, and maybe different per type of input device.
However we do not have access to this information, and hope this gives a
better default.

For Blender 2.8 we had to be compatible with very old OpenGL versions, and
triple buffer was designed to work without offscreen rendering, by copying
the the backbuffer to a texture right before swapping. This way we could
avoid redrawing unchanged regions by copying them from this texture on the
next redraws. Triple buffer used to suffer from poor performance and driver
bugs on specific cards, so alternative draw methods remained available.
Now that we require newer OpenGL, we can have just a single draw method
that draw each region into an offscreen buffer, and then draws those to
the screen. This has some advantages:
* Poor 3D view performance when using Region Overlap should be solved now,
since we can also cache overlapping regions in offscreen buffers.
* Page flip, anaglyph and interlace stereo drawing can be a little faster
by avoiding a copy to an intermediate texture.
* The new 3D view drawing already writes to an offscreen buffer, which we
can draw from directly instead of duplicating it to another buffer.
* Eventually we will be able to remove depth and stencil buffers from the
window and save memory, though at the moment there are still some tools
using it so it's not possible yet.
* This also fixes a bug with Eevee sampling not progressing with stereo
drawing in the 3D viewport.

These no longer made much sense after regions were added, they just

Border and circle select wait for input by default.
This commit uses bool properties on the operators instead of
magic number (called "gesture_mode").
Keymaps that define 'deselect' for border/circle select
begin immediately, exiting when on button release.
|
|
Replace with operator type 'last_properties'.
Also use generic function for circle gesture properties.
