System crash was observed if one of the driver initialisation
commands is timed out. The reason is our timeout handler triggers
firmware dump, meanwhile driver initialisation error paths have
already freed the adapter structure.
Firmware hasn't yet completely initialized. So collecting firmware
dump is not needed in this case. Command timeout handler is
modified in this patch to fix the crash issue.

600f5d909a54("mwifiex: cleanup ioctl wait queue and abstraction layer")
introduced the wakeup_interruptible suppression in mwifiex_complete_cmd
b1a47aa5e1e1("mwifiex: fix system hang issue in cmd timeout error case")
then added wakup_interruptible to mwifiex_cmd_timeout_func the single
place setting a status of ETIMEDOUT.
Instead of doing extra work, using the standard call-chain will have the
same effect:
mwifiex_cancel_pending_ioctl
-> mwifiex_recycle_cmd_node
-> mwifiex_insert_cmd_to_free_q
-> mwifiex_complete_cmd
-> wake_up_interruptible
The difference is that previously the condition was not set to true,
but that's probably just an oversight in b1a47aa5e1e1 and shouldn't
have any consequence

CMD_F_CANCELED was used to abort mwifiex_process_cmdresp in
case it already started or starts processing the cmd.
But this was probably not working the way intended:
- it is racy: mwifiex_process_cmdresp might already have passed that
test and is continuing to use the cmd node being recycled
- mwifiex_process_cmdresp repeatedly uses adapter->curr_cmd which
we just set to NULL
- mwifiex_recycle_cmd_node will clear the flag
The reason why it probably works is that mwifiex_cancel_pending_ioctl
is only called from mwifiex_cmd_timeout_func, where the there is little
chance of a command response still arriving

mwifiex_cancel_pending_ioctl is called only from
mwifiex_cmd_timeout_func. There the wait_q status is set to
-ETIMEDWAIT before calling this function. Whether we reset the status
to -1 or leave it at -ETIMEDWAIT at end doesn't matter since both
are != 0 hence mean failure

With scan channel gap when any station/AP is active, FW comes back
to connected channel for any pending data transfter after scanning each
channel.
We set scan channel gap TLV to FW in scan command when any of the
interface is active. This enables scan channel gap in FW.
Also when scan channel gap is enabled, we would scan maximum channels
allowed by FW.
Scan channel gap is supported only on FW with V15 FW API.

If we dont set FW API info here, for older FW releases where FW API
is not available in GET_HW_SPEC, API version would remain 0.
This may cause issues with 11ac if older FW is used with newer driver.

While updating 'left_len' in each iteration, we should subtract
last TLV length not the accumulated length of TLVs parsed till
now.
This bug in parsing logic is exposed by newer firmware which adds
two TLVs in GET_HW_SPEC command response. Earlier firmwares used to
add only one TLV.

Sleep Confirm command is sent separately while other commands
are handled through cmd_pending_q. Print sleep_confirm cmd and
its response as well as power save events so that we have a
clearer picture of power save handshake in driver log.

Firmware dump feature is added for PCIe based chipsets which can
be used with the help of ethtool commands.
1) Trigger firmware dump operation:
ethtool --set-dump mlan0 0xff
When the operation is completed, udev event will be sent to
trigger external application.
2) Following udev rule can be used to get the data from ethtool:

When command timeout occurs due to a firmware/hardware bug,
there is no chance of next command being successful. We will
keep cmd_sent flag on so that next command won't be sent to
firmware.

This bug has introduced/exposed due to recent patch in which we
cancel pending commands before suspend (using hs_enabling flag).
The NULL pointer is dereferenced when both
mwifiex_cancel_all_pending_cmd() and mwifiex_exec_next_cmd()
try to access cmd pending queue simultaneously.

Sometimes we may end up downloading other commands when host
sleep is configured. This patch makes sure that pending
commands are cancelled and we stop queueing further commands
during host sleep.

Even if the device is changed to 1X1 mode, data is sent with
higher MCS rates after association.
This patch fixes the problem by updating MCS information field
in HT capability when antenna setting changes so that correct
information will be advertised in association and probe request.

Command timeout happens when firmware goes into bad state.
There is no chance that next command will be successful after
this. Hence we will maintain a flag instead of count.

We skip downloading other commands after FUNC_SHUTDOWN is queued
during driver unload. Main thread should be woken up each time
after freeing skipped command so that FUNC_SHUTDOWN gets served
in case if there are other pending commands before FUNC_SHUTDOWN.
Also, call mwifiex_complete_cmd() only for synchronous commands.

and driver unload paths respectively.
If scan operation is in progress, we should abort it smoothly.

There is a race condition while queuing synchronous command and
asynchronous command requested from different threads, because
the wait_q_enabled flag is set based on a global variable
cmd_wait_q_required.
The issue is fixed by removing this global variable and using a
unified function with an argument 'sync' passed into the
function.

Currently MU/SU beamformer and MU beamformee features are
not supported.
Hence this patch modifies VHT capability information accordingly.
Number of sounding dimensions should be zero in this case.

In extended scan, host gets scan results through one or
multiple events instead of scan command response. Host will
send next scan command when all the events are received.
Legacy scan sometimes truncates scan results in a noisy
environment due to buffer length limitation. This issue
is addressed in extended scan.

For pcie8897, the hs_cfg cancel command (0xe5) times out when host
comes out of suspend. This is caused by an incompleted host sleep
handshake between driver and firmware.
Like SDIO interface, PCIe also needs to go through firmware power
save events to complete the handshake for host sleep configuration.
Only USB interface doesn't require power save events for hs_cfg.

This patch adds cfg80211 del_station handler for mwifiex.
If bss is not started or there are no stations in associated
stations list, no action is taken. If argument received is
null/broadcast mac, all stations in associated station list are
deauthenticated.
Patch also deletes related RxReorder stream and TxBA stream tables
for related station.
